When the oilfield exploitation enters the stage of high water-cut , the contradiction in controlling the water bearing and reducing the decreasing efficiency of oil recovery has become more and more intensive, and the difficulty in improving productivity by means of controlling the water bearing is growing. How to identify the low and non-effective injection-production circulation layers effectively and take corresponding measures to control, there is no formation of a well-established and effective method at present,so the study has great significance to the oilfield exploitation in the stage of high water-cut.1. The whole idea that "the dynamic general survey, the static confirmation, the fine description, the testing verification and the effective harness" is put forward. The applicability of "Four-parameter decision-making method" in Putaohua oilfield in this paper is analyzed, the parameter decision-making system of the district is established, and the dynamic survey is done; the specific location, layer and thickness by combining static information and monitoring data are determined; the low effective circulation layers by the crosswell electrical potential and tracer detection are verified and confirmed; some physical parameters of the low and non-effective circulation layers are described, such as orientation, volume, thickness etc., through combining the inter-well tracer technique with the numerical simulation technology, the distribution differences of the permeability to all directions are shown, the water-drive speed and sweep factor are calculated and the precise description of the low and non-effective circulation layers is achieved. Simultaneously, we classified the low and non-effective circulation layers, summarized the distribution characteristics in the north of Putaohua and discussed the treatment of the low and non-effective circulation layers.2. The applied conditions and characteristics of pulse test, cross-borehole potentiometry, waterflood front test through microseismic monitoring and isotope test with large diameter of particle, etc. are analyzed.3. On the basis of dynamic analysis and cause classification, by respectively use of profile control, water plugging, interval revision or stopping injection, and interval periodic injection, etc. the low and non-effective injection-production circulation layers can be controlled and managed, and the good result is achieved.
