The synthesis,character and properties of a novel surfactant,Long-chain Alkyl Dimethyl Polyglyceryl Ammonium Chloride(ADPAC),were studied in the paper.This synthesis expriment was divided into two steps:1,First,the synthesis of polygolycerol.The industrial excellent glycerol is used in this paper to synthesize the polygolycerol.The optimum reaction conditions were obtained via monofactorial method experiments.For preparation of polygolycerol was obtained as follows: 2%NaOH(catalyst),the reaction temperature was 260℃,the reaction time was 2h.2,The ADPAC was synthesized by polygolycerol and long-chain alkyl dimethyl tertiary amine.The optimum reaction conditions were obtained via monofactorial method and orthogonal experiments.For the intermediate product,epichlorohydrin and polygolycerol in molar ratio 1.2 reacted at 60℃for 8h.For the final product,tertiary amine and intermediate product in molar ratio 0.95 reacted at 80℃for 6h.The interactions of the ADPAC/SDS,ADPAC/LAS,ADPAC/AES mixed systems have been investigated separaterly at 298 K in the solution of 0.1 mol/L NaCl.These mixed solution have obvious strong synergistic interaction.The performance of ADPAC had been tested in this step.The had good performace in surface tension,vesicular nature,emulsifiability,dissolubility,compatibility, decontamination,bactericidal action.
