The water-based UV-curable System, with such advantages as non-toxicity, pollution-free, non-skin irritation, has become a major developing direction of environment-protected coating. And the water-based UV-curable polyurethane acrylate(PUA) has a broad development prospect for its good comprehensive property.This thesis aims at the studies on the preparation of the water-based UV-curable coating and presents as follows.(1) Two kinds of polyurethane acrylate resin, TDP and IDP, were synthesized, both of them have excellent water solubility and UV-activity; the proper way of part original materials'pretreatment for synthesized PUA is determined, also the best mol ratio and reaction conditions of original materials for preparing waterborne UV-curable polyurethane acrylate(PUA) coating.(2) The stable UV-curable PUA emulsion was made by phase inversion and also its stability has been studied.(3) Two kinds of excellent properties waterborne polyurethane acrylate coatings were prepared and coating film's comprehensive property was tested; the effect of different photo initiator on the coating film's colour rank was analyzed and it is found that TPO is the best initiator for cured film; the film's resistance to water was enhanced when adding proper dosage of hydrophilic silicone.
