The epoxy propane Wastewater has the characteristics of high calcium chloride content, high COD, and high pH value. It belongs to organic chemical Wastewater which difficult to be biochemical degraded. In this paper, experimental study has done in view of the Wastewater which discharged from chlorine alkali factory epoxy propane production workshop in Zibo city of Shandong Province. The Pre-oxidation + Biological Contact Oxidation craft has proposed for the epoxy propane Wastewater treatment. According to the characteristics of this kind of Wastewater, the main research contents include three aspects: the discussion of gradually microorganism salinity endurance enhancement, the best test condition of H2O2 oxidation for per-oxidation, and the effect verification test of the Pre-oxidation + Biological Contact Oxidation craft. The high concentration of calcium chloride in the Wastewater has certain toxic action to the microorganism. Especially when the salinity density suddenly changes, the toxicity is more serious. Therefore, the first step is improving the salinity gradually to enable the microorganism adapting this kind of high salinity. In the experiment, the microorganism was domesticated by diluting the Cl- to different density. The results of the experiment are as follows: when the salinity is increasing, the microorganism needs a period to adapt the salinity stock. After a period of domestication, the microorganism may restore its activeness, and then the COD degeneration rate will gradually elevate. When the salinity increased to 6000mg/L (counts by Cl- density), the increasing range of 4000mg/L Cl- density could propose certain influences for the biomembrane, and the recovery will quite difficult. The increasing range of 2000mg/L Cl- density have no influences for the biomembrane. At last, the Cl- density can be increased to 18500mg/L (CaCl2 salinity is about 28922mg/L).The jar test has done for the optimal operating condition of H2O2 direct oxidation. Dilute the Cl- density in the waste water to about 18500mg/L, then test the initial pH value, 30%H2O2 dosage and the reaction time. The results of the test are as follows:...
