Studies On Comprehension Index Environmental Quality Based On Principal Component Analysis

In recent decades, environmental problem is concerned as an important factor to human's developing. Ways are adopted to improve our environment so that we can develop sustainably. However, we have to research our environment and get to know it before we take ways to improve it. The only way to get to know our environment is assessing the environmental quality, not only in qualitative analysis but also in quantitative analysis.Comprehensive Index Environmental Quality(CIEQ) has used to express the general environmental situation in Environmental Quality Comprehensive Assessment(EQCA). CIEQ shows the regional environmental quality compactly and clearly, we can compare different region's environmental quality and the same region's environmental quality in different time based on it. Environmental Quality Assessment has a big step on assessing theory and methods in decades' development, but concerned the complexity of the environment, it still doesn't have a uniform assessing system and method by now.According to the constitute of the environment and objective of environmental assessment, this paper selects certain indexes that impacting regional environment a lot to build an environmental quality assessment system. A researching on accounting of CIEQ is given and a comprehensive assessment method on water,air and noise is raised based on principal component analysis(PCA).This environmental quality assessment system is validated in the paper.
