The shortage of water resource has been a negative factor for the sustainable development of our country's national economy. A most effective method that can be adopted to settle such problem is to reuse a city's municipal wastewater which had been treated by advanced process. The process that can treat wastewater quality to come up to the standard of the reuse water with lower cost is a suitable process. The test was carried out on the application of micro-flocculation/fiber-filtration/ disinfection process for treatment of secondary effluent from Ji'nan NO. Ⅱ sewage disposal plant to reuse in the field of municipal. The results of study show that:1. The study focused on the process of micro-flocculation/fiber-filtration/ disinfection to treat the secondary effluent. An experiment has been conducted of how the water quality is influenced by such motion parameters as the dosage of flocculant, filtration rate, the working recycle, the backwashing intensity and the dosage of disinfection. And the obtained optimum running parameters are as follow: polyaluminum chloride (PAC) dosage is 2 mg/L, mixing time as 3.6 s, reaction time as 100 s, filtration rate is 30 m/h, the working recycle can reach to 36 h, the downward backwashing intensity is 6.8 L/m2 · s, the upward backwashing intensity is 3.4 L/m2 · s, the rate of the water consumption is 0.73%, and disinfectant dosage is 6 mg/L. As well as the optimization of the methods of putting disinfectant and flocculant.2. In our study, after treatment process of micro-flocculation/fiber-filtration/ disinfection we can get water quality as follow: BOD5<2.5 mg/L, NH3-N<7 mg/L,...
