This dissertation provides the process of aminoacetic acid manufacture based on monoethanolamine with analyzing the actuality and problem of the glyphosate and ethanolamine industry, which the products shall be used directly in course of glyphosate synthesis without purification. Simultaneously, separate the by-products, inorganic salts from aminoacetic acid.Specially, it emphasizes on the monoethanolamine dehydrogenation. First, add alkaline metals to the Raney Cu to change its character, then select the preferred catalyst from varied catalysts comparing the selectivity , activity , longevity, reaction speed and ratio and make sure the optimal temperature and pressure of reaction. Thus-obtaining crystals mixing aminoacetic acid with inorganic salt. And then to produce glyphosate in the meantime separate the glycine. Therefore, the original powder of glyphosate and the high-purity inorganic salts be obtained by simple means without need of glycine extraction. This invention is more-economic process to the glyphosate, a kind of herbicide, with lower cost.
