A Study On County-level Rural Land-use Space Database Construction And Quality Control

County-level survey of rural land-use and spatial database construction is a foundation work to grasp the situation of rural land-use comprehensively, accurately and timely, to carry on the scientific management of land, and to share land resources information for national, provincial, municipal and county. Taking the second rural land survey and the database construction as the object of study, this article has explored the technical methods of county-level rural land-use present situation survey, the database construction and the data quality control through practice. The main contents are following:1. Through the analytical study of the specific situations of Ningxiang County, a plan is designed for land survey and database construction, and MapGIS software is selected as the platform to establish land-use database with a detailed analysis of its characteristics and advantages in practice.2. The whole operation processes, which include Remote sensing image interpretation, data acquisition in the field, data acquisition and processing indoor, database construction, have been explored in practice.at the same time, the application of "3S" technologies has been studied in the rural land-use survey and spatial database construction, Some rapid and effective method have been gained.3. The type and sources of data quality problems, as well as the gained data quality, have been analyzed in each link of the database construction, some specific method of data quality control has been proposed, and many kinds of technological means have been used to control data quality, including the manual inspection, the software platform inspection, the human-computer interactive inspection and the programming inspection.4. For the function of MapGIS is limited to look up the data wrongs, some quality problems hard to find have been searched for by programming, which makes up the imperfection of MapGIS functions, improves work efficiency and reliability of data.5. Pointing out the flaw of the data quality evaluation method--defect point deduction method used in the second land survey, in the paper, a weighted defect point deduction method is proposed which takes the importance of land-use features into account, and use it to evaluate the land use data quality of Ningxiang County. Evaluation shows that quality control result is better.
