Charged dust grains exist widely in space, plasma equipments in laboratory as well as plasma processing. Dust plasma composed of the interactions between dust grains and plasmas. It had become an important Physics of Plasma's embranchment in recent years when it is recognized as a serious problem in the processing of semiconductor integrated circuit. The dust void usually is a centimeter-size region completely free of dust, one important character is its sharp boundary with surrounding plasma. Researchers have observed the spontaneous form of dust voids in laboratory experiment and processing in microelectronics. In order to reduce the stain for dust grains and ensure microelectronic processing to be performed effectively, it is needed to research the mechanism of formation of dust voids in complex plasmas, especially the condition of the system comprising two various sizes of dust grains.In this paper, the system is made up of two various sizes of dust particles. It can represent other systems with multi-sizes dust particles. The nonlinear phase of the instability in complex plasma is researched numerically in cylindrical coordinate. Our numerical simulating results show that the smaller particles firstly form its void structure. This formation process is the same as that in the single grain's size case. When the smaller dust void is saturated, the whole system reaches a steady state approximately. We find that the bigger dust grains keep moving outwards though the smaller dust grains have formed the void structure. Finally the bigger dust grains are pushed out and are separated form the small dust void structure.This paper contains the following three parts:In the first chapter, the conception and classify about plasma are introduced briefly, and then we recount the conception, researchful methods, development of research, and so on., on the dust plasma.Secondly, we set out the conception of Dust Void and the forces on dust grains in plasma. Also we present pursuits about the formation of dust voids in experiment and theoretic.Finally, in one-dimensional cylindrical under the axisymmetry assumption, the mathematical evolution model of nonlinear instability is established. We analyse the mechanism of formation of dust voids in complex plasma using the mathematical results.
