This paper deals with the systematic studies on Trichogrammatidae from Yili valley region of Xinjiang, China. Based on the examination of about 291 slide-mounted specimens mainly collected by sweeping from 43 places in this region, 12 genera and 25 species of Trichogrammatidae were described. Among them, the new species of Mirufens Girault, named M. latimarginata sp.nov.; The species Lathromeriodea silvarum Nowicki, rec.nov. of the genus Lathromeroidea Girault, the species Uscana inflaticornis (Nowicki), rec.nov. of the genus Uscana Girault recorded for the first time in china; The genus Uscana Girault, Lathromeroidea Girault and the species Tumidiclava tenuipenis Lin are reported for the first time from Xinjiang. The paper comprises four parts: General part, Geographical distribution and fauna component, Taxonomic part and Discussion. In General part, the taxonomic history, morphology, biology, hosts records and the application on the biological control etc. are briefly reviewed. In the geographical distribution and fauna component part, the primary fauna analyse of Trichogrammatidae from Yili valley region were provided. In the Taxonomic part, the 12 genera of Trichogrammatidae from the Yili valley region of Xinjiang are diagnosed and keyed for both sexes. In each genus the following information is given: 1) generic synonymy; 2) geographic distribution; 3) diagnosis; 4) the historical review and the present species; 5) hosts; 6) species known from China. When the genus is studied in detailed, a key to the included species from the Yili valley region of Xinjiang (if species more than 2) and full descriptions of each species are proposed, all the species are illustrated in detail. In addition, an illustrated overview of morphology of the family Trichogrammatidae is presented to acquaint readers with basic structures. In the discussion part, describe the merit and demerit of the experimentation method, and the expectation to the research work in the future. A list of the genera and species under each genus treated in this paper are as follows:Trichogrammatidae :1. Trichogramma Westwood(1)T. chilonis Ishii(2)T. ostriniae Pang et Chen(3)T. pintoi Voegele2. Epoligosita Girault(4)E. lini Hu et Lin(5)E. clara Hayatet Viggiani3. Ufensia Girault(25)U. xinjiangensis Hu et LinFaunal Composition :Characteristics of faunal components of Trichogrammatidae in Yili region is summarized as follows:Widely-distributed species are the most, the next are Endemic species, Palearctic species( including Centro-Asiatic species, Pan-palearctic species and Asiatic species).New species:The new species is similar to the species M. longitubatus, but the former marginal vein is wider, length versus width is 21/14; The size of the two funicle is similar; The cilia of the hind wing is 5 lines; And the ovipositor is shorter, is about 1.78 times as big as the tibia of the hind leg.Discussion:The merit and demerit of the experimentation method, and the expectation to the research work in the future.
