Systematic Studies On Trichogrammatidae From The Northern And Eastern Regions Of Xinjiang

This paper deals with the systematic studies on Trichogrammatidae from the northern and eastern regions of Xinjiang, China. Based on the examination of about 288 slide-mounted specimens mainly collected by sweeping from about 100 places in these regions, 12 genera and 19 species of Trichogrammatidae were described. Among of them, the genus Paratrichogramma Girault is recorded for the first time from Paleartic region and China; Paratrichogramma tarimica,Epoligosita shihezica and Epoligosita lini are new species; Soikiella mongibelli Nowicki is new record from China; additionally, the genus Soikiella Nowicki and Lathromeris Foerster are reported for the first time from Xinjiang, and Tumidiclava bimaculata(Blood)is found for the first time from Xinjiang. It's the first time for analyzing the morphological characters of genera Aphelinoidea Girault, Densufens Lin and Ufensia Girault by SEM.The paper comprises three parts: Inroduction, Taxonomic part and Observation by scanning electron microscopy (SEM).In General part, the taxonomic history, morphology, biology, hosts records and the application on the biological control etc. are briefly reviewed.In the Taxonomic part, the 12 genera of Trichogrammatidae from the northern and eastern regions of Xinjiang are diagnosed and keyed for both sexes. In each genus the following information is given: 1) generic synonymy; 2) geographic distribution; 3) diagnosis; 4) the historical review and the present species; 5) hosts; 6) species known from China. When the genus is studied in detailed, a key to the included species from the northern and eastern regions of Xinjiang (if species more than 2) and full descriptions of each species are proposed, all the species are illustrated in detail. In addition, an illustrated overview of morphology of the family Trichogrammatidae is presented to acquaint readers with basic structures.A list of the genera and species under each genus treated in this paper are as follows:Trichogrammatidae :1.
