The Quantitative Vegetation Ecology is studying the inner relation of between plants and plants or between plants and environment, through the complex mathematic computing and integral analyzing to depend on a large of observing data of vegetation and environment. The calculation methods are named Quantitative Vegetation Analysis. Before computers were abroad applied, the theories have been developing slowly, because the calculation quantities were too large. The development of computers is convenient for the development of the quantitative vegetation ecology. After that many new theories and new methods have appeared. And at one time, some ecological software related the quantitative vegetation analysis was manufactured. Now there are amount of ecological software such as Cornell Ecological Programs, Pc-ord, Canaco and so on. These programs are very mature, and are used on community taxis by all over the world ecological researchers. But at other region of the quantitative vegetation ecology, for example community component analyses, community diversity analyses, population special pattern analyses, there is less relative ecology program or perfect program.This paper has built a analytic system of vegetation community, that is "Statistic and Analyses System of Vegetation Community (SASVC)", which could statistic, analyze and compute the raw sample data, and carry out community component analyses, community diversity analyses, population special pattern analyses and so on. The system is programmed with VBA(Visual Basic Application) basing on Excel which is a part of the Office series soft of Microsoft. Thereby the system has a lot of excellence for example having had a large amount of users, convenient operation, rapid run, easy maintenance and update, and so on. Unlike traditionally manual statistic and analyses, it could greatly improve the work efficiency and decrease calculating time depending on using this system. Consequently more time could be in attention to the ecological meaning of analyzed result and ecological explanation.There are some followed functions in the SASVC:â‘ It can automatically rapidly calculate the component of community from raw sample data, and can plot the curve of "species-area";â‘¡It can compute some quantitative characters of community component, that are frequency, abundance, height, cover, and then calculates relative frequency, relative abundance, relative height, relative cover, important value(IV) and dominance index(DI);â‘¢It can calculate 8 diversity indices on analyses of community diversity, that is Simpson diversity index, Shannon-Wiener diversity index, Mclntosh diversity index , Patrick richness index, and so on;â‘£It can test the pattern of population distribution using calculation of Poisson distribution, negative binomial distribution, and 8 Clumped intensive indices that are Morisita index, mean crowed index, and so on, and it also can analyze pattern scale and pattern grain, through calculating the methods of hierarchical analysis of variance, two term local of variance, Random pairing, and Patch-Gap analysis.This paper had had a research of the vegetation community at Daba village, Wujia town, Rongchang county, Chongqing city, as well. Adopting the method of representative plots, it was set plots selectively, and was sampled, according to different altitude, gradient and conditions of vegetation. Then these data were computed by SASVC.The result of analyzing component species of community of Daba village as follow: There were 10 kinds of arbor species, that included Platycladus orientalis, Broussonetia papyrifera, and so on; There were 24 kinds of shrub species, that included Alangium chinense, Vitex negumdo, Coriaria nepalensis, and so on. There were 102 kinds of herbage species, that included Erigeron annuuss,Artemisia vulgaris L, Ficus tikoua, and so on.The result of analyzing the quantitative characters of component species as follow: The dominance index of arbor layer was 0.58, where Platycladus orientalis was dominant specie, and Rhus chinensis, Broussonetia papyrifera were dominant species in not plantation. The dominance index of shrub layer was 0.11, where there often were pure plantation of Vitex negumdo, Coriaria nepalensis, Alangium chinense. The dominance index of herbage layer was 0.06, where Imperata koenigii, Miscanthus sinensis, Carex burnnea, Dendranthema indicum, Arundinella anornala, Artemisia japonica were dominance species.The result of analyzing community diversity as follow: Every diversity index of arbor layer was low, because in that area the plantation was dominate, and the structure of arbor layer was simple. The amount of species of shrub layer was more than arbor layer's amount, so diversity indices of shrub layer were a little improved comparing with ones of arbor layer. Many diversity indices of herbage layer were most high, that was relative of the large amount of herbage species. But its Pielou evenness index and Alatato evenness index were lower than shrub layer's. The community diversity of Daba village was low. Therefore it should foster and improve structure of forest.The result of analyzing population pattern as follow: The distribution pattern of Platycladus orientalis, Vitex negumdo, Coriaria nepalensis and Alangium chinense were examined as clumped pattern. The pattern scale of Vitex negumdo had 2 levels of clump. Its average scales were 100m~2 and 400m . The pattern scale of toxicodendron succedaneum had 1 level of clump. Its average scales was 500m2. The result of patch-gap analyses of Vitex negumdo population and toxicodendron succedaneum population had shown it was the most as k=10. And the patch scale of Vitex negumdo population was 20m and 70m, and the patch scale of toxicodendron succedaneum population was 30m.
