The river is dry in the lower reaches of Tarim River about 350 kilometers for thirty years in the past half of the century. The Luobu and Taitema Lake have without a little water, the vegetation around the river have being dispeared for recent 30 years and the ecological environment become bader and bader. The emergency water supply is one kind of important way to improve local environment. After four years emergency water supply,we study on the rules of vegetation response from the physiology and the growth. We also study on the strategy about how to renew the vegetation In tarim drainage area .First, we study the physiology on the Populus euphratica Oliv.,the Tamarrix L.,the the Apocynum venetum L.,the Phragmites Adans on auxin(IAA),gibberellin(GA3),abscisic acid(ABA),superoxide dismutase (SOD), ascorbate peroxidase (POD) and malondialdehyde (MDA), dissolubility sugar,PRo。We find the quantity of IAA,POD,GA3,chlorophyl rise and the ABA,SOD,MDA drop with the distance to the river.Second, We measure the diameter of the the Populus euphratica Oliv. in every year in different distance to the river. We analyse the correlation between the diameter and the distance to the river. We find the growth descrease by the distance to the river . Third, we should plant trees on the both riverside so that we can deduce the invalidation evaporation. Another is that we should find more potential breeds of tree to fight the drought.
