Nanometer is measure of geometry dimension, the length is billionth of a meter, it is happened within the zone between the microcosmic which is represented by atoms and molecules and the macro world which is delegated by humans' movement space, so it is the new demesne for the development of physics, chemistry, materials sciences, life sciences and info science and so on. Commonly, those materials which the crystal granularity are less than 100 nanometers are called nanomaterials.The system of nanomaterials have many special characterizes and new orders, which let people be up to the field would be hot in materials science research in the next century, its development will bring more chances to the research of physics, chemistry, materials, biology and medicine etc. These intercross subjects will be affect each other and come to be new growth spots, which offer some more new thoughts for their development and accelerate the progresses of new technique.Nanomaterials have many new characterizes which different from the normal materials for their small size, big surface area ratio and quanta dimension domino effect, for examples, the metal with good conductor will be turned into nonmetal when the size is reduced tonanometer levels; the resistance of originally nonconductor will be descended greatly when its size is reduced several nanometers or so, and loss the nonconductor property; the general solid is steady under certain conditions, while under nanometer conditions, the capabilities will be effected greatly by the granule sizes, the newness characteristics made nanomaterials have great appliance foreground on catalyze, optics, and industry produce and so on, therefore the nanomaterials have been the hotspot for materials science, chemistry science and so on. The first Nano science and technology has been(NST) have been held in July ,1990, on the meeting, nanomaterials science has been formally regarded as a new branch in materials science. The naissance of nanomaterials science was indicated that the materials science have come into a new floor, it also enrich the research range in solid physics science in 21th century.In this work, the author gave full-scale introduction for several aspects .such as the nanomaterials' the structure and speciality, the application in practice and the progress in our country at present etc; recommended the discover, preparation and application of nanotubes, which an important nanomaterials; expatiate the preparation of nanomaterial of titanium series compounds, especially carbide titanium, nitrogen titanium nanowire or nanorope and so on, and their appear, shape, crystal structure, elements , growth condition and growth mechanism ueie also analyzed. The main content in this paper include:1 Using CVD(Chemical Vapor Deposition )method prepare carbon nanotubes, and analyzed its shape, appearance, elements etc, and the various factors on which affect the synthetical quality were also analyzed particular.2 Synthesizing several carbide titanium nanomaterials, including using different methods synthesize TiC nanorods, nanovvires and nanoballs, and expatiate their structure, shapecharacterize and growth mechanism respective.3 Synthesizing nitrogen titanium nanoropes, also analyzed its appearance , structure and growth mechanism.
