Measurement And Analysis Of China's Human Development Index Based On The Theory Of Coordinated Development

The people's position is the fundamental political position of the Communist Party of China,and serving the people is the essential attribute of China's national system and governance system.Now,the main contradiction in China's social development has been transformed into "the contradiction between the people's growing needs for a better life and unbalanced and inadequate development".The Fourth Plenary Session of the 19 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China emphasized that "to promote the modernization of national governance system and governance capacity" and "to strive to solve the problem of unbalanced and inadequate development",so as to make regional coordinated development the leading strategy of China's regional development in the new era.We need new thinking and methodology that can guide China's social and economic development to sublimation.In the past,human development index(HDI)has been playing an important role in the analysis,comparison and evaluation of the development status and process of countries in the world.However,to study the new problems of human development in China,we need to examine the suitability of HDI.This paper analyzes the current situation of the development of China's inter provincial human development index and the influence mechanism of regional index differences by constructing the evaluation system of human development index in line with China's national conditions.The paper consists of eight chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which explains the background and significance of the research,and expounds the research ideas,research methods,main contents,as well as the innovation and shortcomings of the paper.Chapter 2 is the theoretical basis of the thesis.First,the theoretical basis of the basic theory of the human development index is reviewed,and the contributions and defects of the theory are expounded.Secondly,the theoretical foundation for China's human development is studied,including Marx's humanism,the people-oriented theory of the Chinese Communist Party and the New Development Theory.Thirdly,the existing research results are reviewed,leading to the main research content of this paper.Chapter 3 reviews and summarizes the compilation and calculation methods of human development index(HDI),expounds the compilation framework,compilation methods,and the process of existing disputes.On this basis,it points out that the HDI index system has great defects in measuring China's human development problems.In Chapter 4,the HDI system is extended to China's human development system(CHDI),which includes five dimensions: income,education,life span,sustainable development and people's livelihood.On the basis of comparing the methods of dealing with the weight of each index,this paper finally thinks that the method of equal weight index is more suitable for the evaluation of human development level in China at present.At the same time,the method of geometric average is adopted to synthesize each sub index,which reflects the effect of index "short board" to the greatest extent and conforms to the policy guideline of regional coordinated development strategy "short board".Chapter 5 is the calculation and comparison of traditional human development index and China's human development index.The results show that China's human development index system(CHDI)can better reflect the development differences of different regions in China than that of human development index(HDI),especially the problems of green development,scientific and technological innovation,and people's livelihood investment,so as to reflect the unbalanced and inadequate regional development.Chapter 6 compares and analyzes the spatial coordination of human development in China.First of all,the spatial measurement methods are reviewed.According to the data characteristics and research needs of this paper,on the basis of comparing the suitability of each method,the geographical weight is selected as the spatial weight of the model.The model adopts the method of step-by-step verification,introduces several possible explanatory variables one by one,and selects the best model.The results show that China's human development level has a more significant trend of effectiveness,and the progress of human development level in a single region benefits from the improvement of development level in neighboring regions of geospatial space and the systematic improvement of development level in the whole region.In addition,the growth of China's regional human development level is positively related to the initial value of human development in the surrounding areas and the whole system.However,the spatial convergence rate of CHDI data is higher than that of HDI data,especially the spatial quadrant distribution of some eastern provinces has obvious changes.Chapter 7 analyzes the system coordinated development of human development in China.Based on a brief review of the measurement methods of coordination degree and coordination development degree,this paper constructs a coordination development degree model to measure and analyze the overall coordination development degree of China in 1990-2017 and the coordination development degree of each region.At the same time,using the nonparametric kernel density estimation method to draw the trend evolution chart of the coordinated development degree of China's income,education and life index from 1990 to 2017,and intuitively analyze the dynamic evolution law of the coordination degree of human development in the traditional human development perspective.It is found that the CHDI,which increases the dimensions of sustainable development and people's livelihood improvement,can reflect the short leg and short board problems of unbalanced regional development more comprehensively.Chapter 8 summarizes the conclusions and gives some suggestions.Based on the existing research conclusions,this chapter puts forward four specific suggestions to promote the coordinated development of human beings in China.
