ObjectiveWith the globalization of today’ s world,China interacts with the world more and more closely,and the exchange of Chinese medicine between countries is becoming more and more frequent.The English translation of TCM classics is the basis and prerequisite for the internationalization and external communication of TCM.This study attempts to interpret the subject’ s relationship in translated Chinese Medicine Classics system from the ecological perspective.At a macroscopic level,it summarizes the historical and functional overview of the translated Chinese Medicine Classics system,as well as illustrates the externa]ecological environment;at a microscopic level,it mainly illustrates the composition and functions of the subjects in the translatc d Chinese Medicine Classics system,as well as the interplay between subjects’relationship.Finally,based on the ecological analysis of the subjects’ inter-relationship and in light of some ecological laws,this dissertation makes further reflections on how to improve the subjects’ relationship.MethodIn this study,a variety of methods were used to study the subject’ s relationship in translated Chinese Medicine Classics system,so as to provide more methods,frameworks and perspectives for the academic community.First,based on the purpose and task of the study,the literature research method is used to consult,collect,identify and sort out relevant literature and materials to study the general situation of the English translation of Chinese Medicine Classics and the ecological theory of translation,such as the definition of ecological translation,the theory of translation system,the ecological environment of translation,the subject in the translation system,the subjects’ relationship in translation system,which form ascientific understanding of the relationship in the subjects of in translated Chinese Medicine Classics system from the perspective of ecology.Secondly,this study adopts a historical description method to restore the translation and introduction activities of Chinese Medicine Classics in different periods.Thirdly,the method of induction and deduction is used to summarize the main body composition and functions of the English translation system of Chinese Medicine Classics from the microscopic level and to summarize and analyze the external ecological environment of the main body of the English translation system of Chinese Medicine Classics from the macro level.Combines them to analyzes the relationship in subjective of the translation system of Chinese Medicine Classics.Fourthly,in this paper inductive analysis is used to research and discuss the strategies from the aspects of the adaptation of the subjects to the external ecological environment,the structural relationship between the subjects and the optimization of the interaction among the subjects.Results1.The evolution process of the English translation system of Chinese Medicine Classics and the different characteristics of the development of the English translation system of Chinese Medicine Classics in diff erent periods are summarized.On the whole,the development process of the Englishtranslation system of Chinese Medicine Classics is from simplification to complication and from marginalization to centralization.2.This paper analyzes and summarizes the composition and functions of the main body of the English translation system of Chinese Medicine Classics:first,it is believed that the main body of the English translation system of Chinese Medicine Classics mainly includes sponsors,original researchers,translators,readers and reviewers.Then,the ecological function of the main body of the Chinese Medicine Classics translation system has the function of guidance,adjustment and feedback.3.This paper summarizes the external ecological environment of the main body of the English translation system of Chinese Medicine Classics.First of all,it makes a diachronic analysis of the political and economic environment.The political and economic environment of the English translation system of Chinese Medicine Classics has gradually developed from the stage of cultural orientation of the target language to the stage centering on the development of Chinese medicine culture,and then,the cultural environment is analyzed.Two cultural factors,the research of Chinese Medicine classics and theprogress in standardization of Chinese Medicine terminology translation are selected for discussion.4.It analyzes the relationship in the subjects of the English translation system of Chinese Medicine Classics.First the evolution of the relationship in subjects in English translation system of Chinese Medicine Classics is reviewed,the relationship in subjects in the English translation system of Chinese Medicine Classics is dominated by the translator.Secondly,thecharacteristics of the relations in the subjects of the English translation system of Chinese Medicine Classics are symbiotic,interactive,hierarchical,dynamic and growing.Thirdly,the structural relationship in the subjects of the English translation system of Chinese Medicine Classics mainly includes functional structure,resource structure and spatial structure.5.Specific strategies are put forward to optimize the inter-subjectiverelationship in the translation system of Chinese Medicine Classics:First,to promote the good adaptation of the main body of the Chinese Medicine Classics translation system to the external ecological environment;Second,to optimize the functional structure,resource structure and spatial structure to achieve the structural relationship in the subjects of the Chinese Medicine Classics translation system;Thirdly,to optimize the interaction between subjects in the English translation system of Chinese Medicine Classics by means ofinformation transmission and feedback control.Conclusion1.The historical evolution of the English translation system of Chinese Medicine Classics is a process from simplification to complication and from marginalization to centralization.The components of the English translation system of Chinese Medicine Classics are organical ly linked.In a period of time,the information transmission and material circulation between the ecological environment and the subject,make each subject,the environment and the subject co-evolved and highly adapted.2.The subjects of the English translation system of Chinese Medicine Classics mainly include sponsors,original researchers,translators,readers and reviewers.The ecological function of the main body of Chinese Medicine Classics translation system has the guiding function,the adjusting function and the feedback function.The English translation of Chinese Medicine Classics is not a static result but a dynamic process involving complex cross-cultural factors.It is an interactive system of sponsors,original work researchers,translators,readers and reviewers,and is influenced by the external ecological envi ronment in which the subject lives.3.At present,the political and economic environment endows the subject of the Chinese Medical Classics translation system with greater autonomy,which is more conducive to the sustainable development of the Chinese Medical Classics translation system;for the subjects of Chinese Medicine Classics translation system,the research on the original works of Chinese medicine classics and the progress in the standardization of the English translation of Chinese medicine terms play a good role in promoting the cognition and understanding of Chinese medicine culture.4.The feature of the relationship in subjects in the English translation system of Chinese Medical Classics is that the translator is the subject.The characteristics of the relations in subjects in the English translation system of Chinese Medical Classics are symbiotic,interactive,hierarchical,dynamic and growing.The structural relationships in the subjects of the English translation system of Chinese Medical Classics mainly include functional structure,resource structure and spatial structure.The change of the relationship between subjects has a profound impact on the development of the English translation system of Chinese Medical Classics.5.The good adaptation of the subject to the external ecological environment is conducive to the optimization of the inter-subject relationship.Through the optimization of functions,resources and spatial structure,the structural relationship between subjects in English translation system of Chinese Medicine Classics can be promoted.Through the optimization of information transmission and feedback control,the interaction in the subjects of the Chinese Medicine Classics translation system can be optimized.
