Objective:The goal of this paper is to observe curative effect of acupuncture combined with Wuzi Yanzong pill and Kaiyu Zhongyu Soup in treating patients with anovulatory infertility and also were diagnosed with kidney deficiency and liver-qi stagnation in TCM diagnosis.Based on the pattern differentiation of a woman at different phases of the menstrual cycle,regulating the menstruation by the incorporation of acupuncture and TCM.Analysing the clinical efficacy and exploring the therapeutic machanism of the menstruation normalizing therapy,so as to provide effective treatment for patients with kidney deficiency and liver-qi stagnation type of anovulatory infertility.Methods:All patients have had gynecological examination and Brightness-mode Ultrasound before treatment to find observed objects that were strictly accorded with experiment standard.Regulation of the menstrual cycle,mainly focusing on alleviating the major clinical syndrome of liver-qi stagnation and treat its leading menstrual pathologies such as phlegm turbidity,blood stasis,turbid dampness,blood deficiency,combined with follicle-stimulating medicine or luteinizing medicine to address the root causes,ovulatory disorders and inadequate luteal function.The regulation of menstrual cycle and improvement of fertility can’t be completely separated.①:From follicular phase to ovulatory phase:Taking Wuzi Yanzong pill on the fourteen day of menstrual period and changing it into Promoting Ovulation Decoction(also Wuzi Yanzong pill)when the diameter of the follicular is measured up to 1.8cm.②From luteal phase to menstrual phase:Taking Kaiyu Zhongyu soup in this period to protect the liver and tonify the kidney as well as regulate and strengthen Chong and Ren channels.③:During the menstrual period:Applying the therapy mentioned above in combination with acupuncture to promote ovulation.Stimulating Guanyuan、Zhongji、Zigong points on the fifth day of menstrual period or the time when Brightness-mode Ultrasound examination showed the maturation of ovarian follicles,one time a day for three days and also applying the suspended moxibustion treatment by stimulating the Zhongji、Zigong、Sanyingjiao acupoints for about 30 minutes until the local skin got flushing.Treating three menstrual cycles and a cycle made up of a course of treatment.Patients who got pregnant during treatment can stop treatment.Results:Of all 40 treated patients,27 patients were cured and the whole pregnancy rate is 67.5%,9 patients get pregnant after 1 treatment cycle,14 patients get pregnant after 2 cycles of treatment,4 patients get pregnant after 3 cycles of treatment,10 patients accounting for 25%of all got better;3 patients accounting for 7.5%of all showed no curative effect.Conclusion:1:The therapy of artificial menstrual cycle induction by TCM and regular acupuncture is effective in regulating menstruation and increasing pregnancy rate They can help woman conceive as well as greatly improve the successful pregnancy rate by raising hormone level through improved whole functional status of our body and microcirculation of reproductive organs.2:The combination of TCM and acupuncture can obviously increase the pregnancy rate but decrease abortion rate of patients with kidney deficiency and liver-qi stagnation type of anovulatory infertility.Proved to be safe and effective,this therapy is worth to be widely applied.
