Research On Female Doctor’s Role Conflicts

The family is an important part of human social life and its role in social operation cannot be overlooked.Under the huge background of social development and historical changes,the family structure of the whole world is undergoing subtle changes.The relations between families and countries are also progressively evolving to new models.In contemporary society,there are more and more professional women entering the society from their families.Many of them are highly educated and engaged in highly specialized work.They are generally under pressure to play both a "family role" and a "career role".After several times of development,feminism has formed a more complete theoretical basis,and more and more women are awakening their self-consciousness.Gender equality has always been the ultimate pursuit of feminism as well as the important part of family policy.On this basis,the thesis uses sociological thinking to reconsider family issues and conduct research with the normative analysis of sociology.Finally,we propose a family policy of "socialization of housework" and strive to provide substantive help to the current social problems,taking home construction to a new height.This thesis consists of the introduction and six chapters in total.In the introduction,it explains how the problem originated,why the female doctor group was chosen as the research object,and how "socialization of housework","role conflict","feminism" and "family policy" were clarified.The "family policy" is the policy background of this study."Role conflict" is the theoretical basis of this thesis."Socialization of housework" is the ideal way to solve the current problems."Feminism" is the humane care rasied in the development of productive forces and the long river of history.The introduction also combs the research status at home and abroad,and explains the writing significance,research methods and arguments of this thesis.The first chapter describes the general trend of family changes in the world at present and clarifies the changing family structure as a background summary of the following chapters.The United States and Sweden were selected as typical examples of family policies in developed countries.The United States encourages that "a large number of labor force enter the market and government and community support".Sweden is a representative of high-welfare countries in Northern Europe,giving families adequate holidays and financial assistance while encouraging fertility.The development of productive forces and these two different approaches have all contributed to the socialization of housework.The development of socialization of housework has also played an enormous positive role in the family stability and social progress in developed countries.At the same time,it also mentions the universality of the dual-service family after the industrial revolution and the rise and changes of feminism,which are all indispensable factors in the promotion of socialization of housework and the improvement of family policy.The second chapter mainly elaborates the theory of sociology of this dissertation-the theory of "role conflict".Because of the development of productive forces and the progress of society,women have stepped out of their homes and moved towards the community.The dual-employment family has become a family model that is both universal and dominant.Also because of this,the conflict between traditional female family roles and professional female roles arose.The "conflict of roles" theory is one of the important theories in sociological research.This chapter sorts out the theoretical connotation and cultural origin,connects the theory with the reality,and analyzes and discusses the existing research.The main body of the article is the third,fourth and fifth chapter.The 500 female medical staff in F Hospital of Y City were selected as the research object,and the empirical research was carried out in a qualitative and quantitative way.From the investigation,it is concluded that the female medical staff generally felt that in daily life and work,"the role of conflict" problem does exist objectively.Due to the professionalism of doctors and hospital work stress,compared with other occupations,work and study take up more time and energy of female health workers,making it more difficult for them to balance the family and job roles.Most families mainly use internal members,such as inter-generational childcare.The elderly help with housework,to ease the burden of family roles.Many families also adopt market-oriented measures such as employing nannies or hourly workers to share domestic work.Such a pattern ignores individual differences among families,rests on a better economic basis and,to a degree,at the expense of old-age leisure and entertainment.In the surveys and interviews,most female medical workers have put forward the hope that the government and society will provide corresponding help and solutions to the problem in a socialized and systematized way.In this way,they may give better play to their profession in the workplace and the cohesion of the family may be improved.The proposal of "socialization of housework" has been unanimously recognized by all.It allows families and individuals blanking in public policies to emerge,recognizes women’s actual contributions in the family and socializes housework.It establishs consultation mechanisms and strikes boundaries between countries,families and individuals,allow them to share responsibility,to perform their respective duties and to find a balance between each pair of tensions.It constructs a transformational thinking of a family-based developmental policy system.At the end of the article,I draw conclusions and put forward my outlook."Socialization of housework" is not only a policy guarantee but also a humane care.It is not only the needs of every family member and every family but also the needs of the whole society.This is an important impetus for improving family policy,building a harmonious marriage and liberating the productive forces.The full realization of gender equality in the society and the reconstruction of the traditional gender order in the family require the support of external forces and the expectation of a strong government role.The combing of family-country relations also requires the government to play more positive functions.
