The University students’political identity is an emotional attachment. Not only the students’political identity reflects their political socialization, but also directly reflects the effectiveness of education. University Students’ Political Identity theory is a relatively new research field. It is a necessary requirement for the development of both theories and political practice. Current research on university students’ political identity focused on the macro-perspective analysis, this paper will focus on the political psychology from the perspective of university students’ political recognition to theoretical research.This paper draws on theories and research findings related to psychology, political science, education, ethics, etc., from the perspective of political psychology trying to Marxist theory, political psychology theory, ideological and political education theory and the party on ideological and political education for the support, by the definition of the content and features of the political identity of contemporary university students, on the formation of political and psychological development of contemporary university students tend to agree, the status quo of contemporary university students as well as all levels of political identity hindering factors, the goal of political identity and guiding principles of education conducted a detailed interpretation; contemporary university students on enhancing political identity countermeasures proposed ideology leads, realistic environment to create and university students psychological education and guidance in three main areas, which focuses on the psychological level of countermeasures, including accordance with university students Countermeasures cognitive law and emotion characteristics phased political identity, the use of psychological counseling method Undergraduates political will guide students in order to carry out several aspects of self-education firm political beliefs, which enriched the contemporary university students’ political identity, expanding the scope and areas of contemporary political identity research students, help enrich the theory of the study of contemporary university students’ political identity.
