| ObjectiveThe study was randomized and controlled designed, with application of dysmenorrhea symptom score standard, visual analogue scale (VAS), verbal rating scale (VRS), behavioral pain meter (BRS-6), McGill questionnaire and retrospective symptom scale (RSS), for assessing the effect of moxibustion Shenque point and with the Guanyuan, Sanyinjiao acupoint catgut embedding therapy for primary dysmenorrhea clinical short-term and long-term effect, Shenque point moxibustion in treating primary dysmenorrhea with catgut embedding and providing clinical basis.MethodThis study was used a randomized controlled trial methods and160patients with selected standard of primary dysmenorrhea were collected from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, with the ratio of1:1assigned to the experimental group and the control group, the experimental group and the control group with80cases in each. After ethics committee approval and signed informed consent, the experimental group with moxibustion Shenque point and Guanyuan, Sanyinjiao acupoint catgut embedding therapy method. The control group only used Guanyuan, Sanyinjiao acupoint catgut embedding therapy. In this study, five menstrual cycles were observed. In the first menstrual cycle, we collected relevant information, used for baseline evaluation, then continuous treatment of three menstrual cycles, and in each of the menstrual cycle of third days later to observe the effect of using the evaluation tool. Stop the long-term curative effect after two months of treatment. The symptoms of dysmenorrhea integral standard, visual analogue scale (VAS), verbal rating scale (VRS), behavioral pain meter (BRS-6), McGill questionnaire and retrospective symptom scale (RSS) to the evaluation of two groups of recent and long-term clinical effect. After the research, clinical data collect, input computer, establish the database, recording data input SPSS18.0for statistical analysis. The comparison of the two groups after treatment, the clinical symptoms and the total clinical efficacy assessment scale scores were statistically analyzed, finally, objective evaluation of clinical efficacy and safety.Statistical methods:classification of data with χ2test, ranked data for two samples Wilcoxon test (calibration), two samples were compared using t test or Wilcoxon test, the t test for comparison or Wilcoxon paired rank sum test.Result1. Before the experiment, the experimental group and the control group of age, course of disease, menstrual cycle, syndrome differentiation type, dysmenorrhea symptom score, VAS score, VRS score, BRS-6score, McGill simple pain scale score showed no significant difference (P>0.05)2. Compared with two treated groups in the first menstrual cycle on dysmenorrhea clinical, there was no significant difference (P>0.05). But in the second, three menstrual cycles and long-term curative effect of dysmenorrhea, the clinical curative effect of the experimental group and the control group had significant difference (P<0.05), the experimental group was better than the control group, the experimental group can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of dysmenorrhea.3. After intervention of two groups, there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group of the first menstrual cycle, VAS score, VRS score, BRS-6score decreased (P>0.05). While the experimental group and the control group in the above indexes were second menstrual cycles, third menstrual cycles and long-term effect of decreased significantly (P<0.05), the experimental group can significantly reduce the score of each index.4. The experimental intervention in the first menstrual cycle, the experimental group and the control group MPQ scale score and PRI score decreased PRI feels there was no significant difference in amplitude (P>0.05). In second menstrual cycles, third menstrual cycles and long-term curative effect, the experiment group and the control group of MPQ scale PRI score in MPQ scale and PRI total score decreased significantly (P<0.05).5. The experimental intervention first menstrual cycles and second menstrual cycles, the experimental group and the control group MPQ scale PRI emotion score decreased without significant difference (P>0.05). In third menstrual cycles and long-term curative effect of the experimental group and the control group MPQ scale PRI emotion score decreased significantly (P<0.05).6. Comparison of the severity of dysmenorrhea symptoms after treatment, experimental group and control group after the first menstrual cycle, body pain were significantly different (P<0.05). The rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea severity showed no significant difference (P>0.05). Comparison between the experimental group and the control group of dysmenorrhea second menstrual cycles after the severity of symptoms, abdominal pain, low back pain, body pain, depression, neuroticism, and the symptoms of dysmenorrhea scores were significantly different (P<0.05). The rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea severity showed no significant difference (P>0.05). Comparison between the experimental group and the control group of dysmenorrhea third menstrual cycles after the severity of symptoms, abdominal pain, low back pain, the pain of body, Yi Jire, loss of appetite, depression, neuroticism, and the symptoms of dysmenorrhea scores were significantly different (P<0.05). The rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea severity showed no significant difference (P>0.05). Comparison of long-term dysmenorrhea symptom severity of two groups after treatment, abdominal pain, low back pain, loss of appetite, body pain, depression, neuroticism, and the symptoms of dysmenorrhea scores were significantly different (P<0.05). The rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea severity showed no significant difference (P>0.05).7. Comparison of the total frequency of dysmenorrhea symptoms after treatment within the two groups, the experimental group and the control group after the first menstrual cycle, body pain were significantly different (P <0.05). The rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea total frequency showed no significant difference (P>0.05). Comparison between the experimental group and the control group of dysmenorrhea second menstrual cycles after total symptom frequency, abdominal pain, low back pain, body pain, depression, and the symptoms of dysmenorrhea total frequency scores were significantly different (P<0.05). The rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea total frequency showed no significant difference (P>0.05). Comparison between the experimental group and the control group of dysmenorrhea third menstrual cycles after total symptom frequency, abdominal pain, low back pain, body pain, depression, and the symptoms of dysmenorrhea total frequency scores were significantly different (P<0.05). The rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea total frequency showed no significant difference (P>0.05). Compared with the control group, the long-term dysmenorrhea symptom severity in experimental group, abdominal pain, low back pain, body pain, depression, and the symptoms of dysmenorrhea total frequency scores were significantly different (P<0.05). The rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea total frequency showed no significant difference (P>0.05).8. The experimental group after treatment, the symptoms of dysmenorrhea severity of horizontal comparison, results showed:the moxibustion Shenque Guanyuan, and Sanyinjiao acupoint catgut embedding therapy for primary dysmenorrhea, the treatment after the first menstrual cycle, body pain symptoms and treatment of severity were significantly different (F<0.05), the rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea severity showed no significant difference (P>0.05). After treatment of second menstrual cycles, abdominal pain, low back pain, body pain, depression, neuroticism, and correlated with the treatment of dysmenorrhea symptom severity before significant improvement (P<0.05). The rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea severity showed no significant difference (P>0.05). After treatment of third menstrual cycles, abdominal pain, nausea, back pain, body pain, irritability, loss of appetite, depression, neuroticism, and correlated with the treatment of dysmenorrhea symptom severity before significant improvement (P<0.05). The rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea severity showed no significant difference (P>0.05). In the long term observation of curative effect after treatment, abdominal pain, nausea, back pain, body pain, irritability, loss of appetite, depression, neuroticism, and correlated with the treatment of dysmenorrhea symptom severity before significant improvement (P<0.05). The rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea severity showed no significant difference (P>0.05).9. After treatment, the symptoms of dysmenorrhea severity of horizontal comparison, the control results suggest:separately using Guanyuan, Sanyinjiao acupoint catgut embedding therapy for primary dysmenorrhea, the treatment after the first menstrual cycle, low back pain symptoms compared with those before treatment there were significant differences (P<0.05), the rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea severity were not significant differences (P>0.05). After treatment of second menstrual cycles, abdominal pain, low back pain compared with those before treatment were significantly improved (P<.05). The rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea severity showed no significant difference (P>0.05). After treatment of third menstrual cycles, abdominal pain, low back pain, body pain, depression and the symptoms of dysmenorrhea scores compared with those before treatment, there were significantly improved (P<0.05). The rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea severity showed no significant difference (P>0.05). In the long term observation of curative effect after treatment, abdominal pain, low back pain, body pain, depression and the symptoms of dysmenorrhea scores compared with those before treatment were significantly improved (P<0.05). The rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea severity showed no significant difference (P>0.05).10. The experimental group after treatment, the symptoms of dysmenorrhea total frequency of transverse comparison, results showed:the moxibustion Shenque Guanyuan, and Sanyinjiao acupoint catgut embedding therapy for primary dysmenorrhea, the treatment after the first menstrual cycle, the total frequency of dysmenorrhea symptoms had no significant difference (P>0.05). After treatment of second menstrual cycles, abdominal pain, low back pain, loss of appetite, body pain, insomnia, depression and correlated with the treatment of dysmenorrhea symptoms of dysmenorrhea symptoms frequency was significantly improved (P<0.05). The rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea total frequency showed no significant difference (P>0.05). After treatment of third menstrual cycles, abdominal pain, nausea, back pain, loss of appetite, insomnia, complexion changes, depression and correlated with the treatment of dysmenorrhea symptoms of dysmenorrhea symptom frequency was significantly improved (P<0.05). The rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea total frequency showed no significant difference (P>0.05). In the long term observation of curative effect after treatment, abdominal pain, nausea, back pain, loss of appetite, insomnia, complexion changes, depression and correlated with the treatment of dysmenorrhea symptoms of dysmenorrhea symptom frequency was significantly improved (P<0.05). The rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea total frequency showed no significant difference (P>0.05).11. After treatment, the symptoms of dysmenorrhea total frequency of transverse comparison, the control results suggest:Guan Yuanxue, Sanyinjiao acupoint catgut embedding therapy alone for primary dysmenorrhea, the treatment after the first menstrual cycle, the total frequency of dysmenorrhea symptoms had no significant difference (P>0.05). After treatment of second menstrual cycles, abdominal pain, low back pain and dysmenorrhea symptoms before treatment the total frequency was significantly improved (P<0.05). The rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea total frequency showed no significant difference (P>0.05). After treatment of third menstrual cycles, abdominal pain, low back pain, the pain of body and the total score and the treatment of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea dysmenorrhea symptoms before the total frequency was significantly improved (P<0.05). The rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea total frequency showed no significant difference (P>0.05). In the long term observation of curative effect after treatment, abdominal pain, low back pain, the pain of body and the total score and the treatment of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea dysmenorrhea symptoms before the total frequency was significantly improved (P<0.05). The rest of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea total frequency showed no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion1. Shenque point moxibustion in treating primary dysmenorrhea could significantly improve pain with catgut embedding, alleviate the symptoms of dysmenorrhea and the frequency of occurrence, has exact clinical curative effect.2. Effect of acupoint catgut embedding therapy combined with moxibustion Shenque point for the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea is better than the single acupoint catgut embedding therapy. |
