Xinjiang’s unique photothermal and water-soil conditions are very suitable for grape growth, and the wine grapes in Xinjiang have good quality,high yield,rich nutrition and the unexampled advantage than other grape producing areas.In recent years,relying on the resource advantages, Xinjiang has adjusted agricultural structures,and both the planting area and production of wine grape have increased significantly.However,grape harvesting totally depends on labor,which seriou sly restricts the development of the wine grape industry,so its harvesting mechanization has bee ome the urgent need.In view of the growth and management characteristics of wine grape,such as multiple main stem sector shaped tree and the length and width leaf canopy shape,this paper carried out the research on vibration separation mechanism and got the grape fruit-pedicle vibration separation conditions of Xinjiang Cabernet Sauvignon grape type.The vibration separating apparatus was al so designed,prototyped,and tested.The results showed that vibration separation device could meet the working requirements.The results have established a theoretical and technical basis for Xinj iang wine grape harvesting mechanization.The main research contents and conclusions were as f ollows:(1) Xinjiang wine grape cultivation and management characteristics,such as multi main stem sector-shaped tree and length and width leaf canopy shape,had been studied.The key parameter s were obtained as follows:the wine grape planting row spacing L=3.0m~3.3m,canopy shape height H2= 1.5m-2.0m,width W= 0.8m,mowing height H1= 0.5m and the distribution in the vertical direction of grape bunches= 500mm~1600mm.The connecting force of grape fruit-pedicle was also studied by experimental tests,and the range of fruit-pedicle connecting force was identified within 5-13 N.The results laid the foundation for designing the device shape size and revealing the grape vibration separation mechanism.(2) In order to study the mechanism of grape vibration separation,supposing the main mo vement form of grape fruit was based on the swing,the vibration model of wine grape was esta blished.The force under grape movement was analyzed,and the critical condition of grape fruit-p edicle separation,which was m0A2ω2’l’-1 cos2 cot2 ωt>F0,was obtained.The measuring device for vibrat ion separation ratio of single strand grape was built up,and the orthogonal test was conducted.T he results showed that the sequence of importance on order of affecting wine grape separation ratio was eccentric distance,rocker length and motor speed,respectively.Under the optimum separa tion ratio conditions combined with the critical condition,the grape fruit-pedicle separation frequ ency was obtained within the range of 2.11~3.69 Hz and the amplitude at the grape peduncle was 169.8 mm.The results could provide the basis for setting the operation parameters of vibr ation separation device.(3) Based on the fruit-pedicle separation frequency and amplitude of the single strand of grape vibration,the vibration separation device of wine grape had been designed.Its driving unit was a RSSR spatial four bar mechanism which had a pair of crank with the 180° position.The working parts were composed of multiple sets of symmetric double rocker planar four bar me chanisms,and the spacing of the opposed rib components could be adjusted for adapting to diffe rent canopy widths of wine grapes.The working principle of separation device and regulation m ethod was analyzed.The kinematic analysis of the driving component and flat double rocker me chanism by using the equivalent plane method and complex vector method was carried out,resp ectively,and the rib angular displacement and angular velocity relationship theory equations were obtained.The important parameters of RSSR spatial four bar mechanism were identified as foll ows:the eccentricity of L1 was 15mm,the rotational speed of power source was 450~750r/min, and the effective vibration length of rib is 850mm.By using the ADAMS software,the kinematic simulation for the separation mechanism was carried out,and the results showed that the vibrati on amplitude of the rib could meet the requirements of vibration separation.(4) Physical prototype based on vibratory separation had been developed,and experimental study was carried out on grape vines.Variance analysis showed that the motor speed and clampi ng position of branches were extremely significant factors which affected the seperation ratio,an d vibration rocker length had no significant effect.Optimal combination of operation parameters was obtained about the wine grape vibration separation device,which was as follows:750 r/min of motor rotational speed,550 mm of clamping position,125 mm of vibration rocker length and 95.42% of sepeartion ratio.The separation process of wine grapes was analyzed using the high-s peed camera system.The simulation model was coincided well with the actual movement of the angular velocity and angular acceleration curves under the optimal parameter combination,whic h also verified the reasonableness of the operation mechanism.
