The Research Of Technological Evolution Based On Ecological Niche Thought

This research is about the evolution of technology based on technical problems and their phenomena with combination with a thought of Ecological Niche. The basic method is to put forward the development of the methodology, which is based on the experiences in ontology, from the view of traditional engineering, the research absorbs multidisciplinary standpoint and combines with the relevant case analysis in the natural technology. The research includes the following.1) How the Ecological Niche theory can used in technology evolution research. Combining experience from the various biological analogy revelations with the Ecological Niche unit analysis model, the research discusses the evolution mechanism and methods for expanding the theory of natural technology from the micro perspective.2) The Niche phenomenon existence forms are analyzed with the Niche phenomenon existing in technical field and their characteristics being clarified.3) Based on the Niche thought and the case study, technological paradigm transition and different technological evolutionary mechanism are analyzed as well as the technical system construction process with combination of the industry case of technological niche phenomena.Technological niche phenomenon, a lack of technology and demand phenomenon, is a basic form of technological problems as well. At first technological niche phenomenon is an existence as the compensation, consummation and the joint, interaction in or between the technological systems, which belongs to the internal segmentation of technology field. Meanwhile, the diversity, complexity, and universality of its existence form is manifested because of the technical invention, innovation and so on triggered by the anticipation from the society. The Niche phenomenon can be divided into the "Narrow definition" effecting on the technological system and "General definition" existing in prevailing technology system. As a concept,"Ecological Niche" is of the more general sense than "Niche" definition separately from ecology and Market management. However, the technological evolution is based on this most basic unit as Ecological Niche and reflects technological transition and changes, and the technological evolution establishes in the paradigm of technology and reflects characteristics of the technological evolution in social technology system with the construction of technological system.With quotation of discussion on technological paradigm in Management Science, Evolutionary Economics and experience of biological evolutionary analogy revelation and reference of analysis methods for technological paradigm transition established by Niche of Ecology, relevant analysis path is expanded through theoretical generalization and case studies.1) to confirm the technological niche existence and "technology system" as the basic analysis unit in technological evolution analysis.2) as to relatively general sense of Darwinian approach of evolution, in the process of technological niche formation and paradigm of technology transition, technology has micro self-organization ability, namely a Lamarckian model as a Micro evolutionary mechanism.3) technological niche phenomenon in the evolution process presents a diachronism in systematic alternate transition, the phenomenon existence is relative, and universal as well;4) evolution of technology is not simple mechanical analogy of biological evolution, technology evolution process embodies technological system formation and reflect of technological paradigm transition.The innovation points of this research:firstly, with combination of multidisciplinary developing process, technological evolution mechanism is analyzed from microscopic to macroscopic technology evolution model through Niche existence; Secondly, the route for empirical researching of the technological evolution is expanded through specific analysis of technical phenomenon manifested with actual case study.
