With the rapid development of modern basketball, the offensive and defensive of basketball techniques and tactics are becoming more and more intense, and the Physical Fitness is becoming a decisive factor. In 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the key factor that Chinese male and female basketball teams make a historic breakthrough is the physical fitness, which has been blocking the development of Chinese basketball level and has not been effectively resolved these years. Inspired by the design theory, the author used correlative sports training theory and designed Physical Fitness training of Chinese male and female basketball teams based on comprehensive diagnosis about Physical Fitness.The main research methods are literature research, questionnaires, observation, expert interviews, mathematical statistics and logic analysis; the research object is the design of Physical Fitness training about Chinese male and female basketball teams in order to attend 2008 Beijing Olympic Games; the theoretical platform that was constructed are functional training theory, systemic training theory, training cycle theory, block structure theory, biological adaptation theory and excess restoration theory .The first is the study on design mode of physical fitness training. Using the theory of physical fitness training, established the design mode of physical fitness training based on expert interviews and domestic literature researches.The second is the study on the characteristics of modern basketball. The author analyzed the events characteristics and Physical Fitness characteristics of modern basketball.The third is the study on the design of physical fitness training about Chinese male basketball team .The author diagnosed Chinese male basketball players and compared Chinese male players'level of physical fitness with that of the players of Europe and America. The results are that Chinese male players have inferior speed-strength, speed-endurance, speed and dexterity.The author analyses the annual training and competition,found serious problem. The first are that Physical Fitness training in the league match stage did not connect with that in the stage of mass training and were lack of systematic training and integrality ,and they affected or restricted one another .The second are in the league match stage, the short training time ,the lack of scientific design about Physical Fitness training during league match, the imperfect recovery after competition, and inferior condition of Physical Fitness training; in the stage of mass training, the physical conditions of players and sports diseases brought on bad Physical Fitness training, especially to main players.Using the theory of sports training and overseas advanced experiences, the author designed Physical Fitness training about Chinese male basketball players. The first are that the author brought Physical Fitness training in the league match stage into the range of Physical Fitness training about Chinese male basketball players and anew divided the training cycle: the cycle of preparing for 2008 Olympic Games was the phase of preparation for world championships and the phase of direct preparation for 2008 Olympic Games; Annual physical fitness training cycle was divided into the stage of mass training and the league match stage. The second are that the author put forward the training tactic of strength ,speed-endurance and dexterity, which including training process , training method, training cycle , training organizing form, load rhythm, the percentage of Physical Fitness training and techniques and tactics training ,and the percentage among different physical conditions. The third is that the author designed the project of Annual physical fitness training about Chinese male basketball players based on Physical Fitness training tacticThe fourth is the study on the design of physical fitness training about Chinese female basketball team. By analyzing rival teams in Beijing Olympic Games, the author deemed the main rival of Chinese female basketball team is Europe and America. In addition, the author compared Chinese female players'level of physical fitness with that of the players of Europe and America . The results are that Chinese female players have inferior explosive strength, bounce strength, speed-strength, speed-endurance, speed and dexterity. Based on analyzing the status quo of annual training and competition, the author found: Physical Fitness training in the league match stage were so complicated that difficult to put in practice.; the second is that Physical Fitness training in the league match stage was not brought into the range of Physical Fitness training about Chinese female basketball players and brought on bad connect and non-integrity; the third are that the low level of Physical Fitness training in the league match stage and lack of necessary condition of Physical Fitness training; the fourth are that there are short training time before league match stage, non-systemic Physical Fitness training during competition stage, lack of supervising on recovery after competition so as to prolong recovery time;in addition, the subsequence effect of league match in mass training stage affected mass training, which are the long stage of competition without the high level Physical Fitness, and bad recovery after competition.The author designed Physical Fitness training about Chinese female basketball players: the design content is same to the male basketball players.The fifth is the study on implementing physical fitness training of Chinese male and female basketball. The author put forward implementing project: the first is the improve and enhance period ; the second is the period of mature stability. In addition , using systems perspective, constructed the system of implementing physical fitness training, which included that support conditions of the system of implementing physical fitness training are system of decision training, system of monitoring training, system of scientific service, injury prevention and treatment systems ,food nutrition recovery systems, information services system; that the implementing method are forced and voluntary form; that the executants are Chinese male and female basketball players and the implementing object are physical fitness training in the league match stage and mass training stage.
