| Objectives:To observe the change of amino acid metabolism in Hepatoma 22-bearing mice and support theoretic base for amino acid imbalance therapy.Methods:Levels of amino acid in plasma and in tumor tissue of 10 Hepatoma 22-bearing ICR mice were measured using HITACHI L-8800 analysis instrument, another normal 10 ICR mice are control group.We compare the levels of plasm amino acid between two groups and analyze the correlation of tumor tissue amino acid,plasm amino acid and tumor volume respectively.Results:Compared with control group, the levels of plasma free valine (P<0.01),serine(P<0.01),glutamic acid(P<0.01),arginine(P<0.01),leucine (P<0.05),methionine(P<0.05),phenylalanine(P<0.05),lysine(P<0.05)) histidine(P<0.05)in hepatoma-bearing mice group were significantly lower. The negtive correlation was found between the tumor tissue valine(R=-0.726,P<0.05),leucine(R=-0.670,P<0.05),methionine(R=-0.920,P<0.01),ar ginine(R=-0.827,P<0.01)and the corresponding plasma free amino acid. The positive correlation was found between the tumor tissue isoleucine(R=0.936,P<0.01),valine(R=0.933,P<0.01),leucine(R=0.897,P<0.01),meth ionine(R=0.927,P<0.01),tyrosine(R=0.909,P<0.01),glutamic acid(R=0.850,P<0.01), serine (R=0.843,P<0.01)and tumor volume.Conclusion:The metabolism of these amino acids in Hepatoma-bearing mice were different.Methionine,valine,leucine,arginine,phenylalanine, tyrosine,serine,glutamine might be the necessary amino acid for hepatocellular carcinoma. Objectives:To study the influence of several amino acid imbalance solutions on hepatocarcinoma inhibition and nutrition status in tumor-bearing mice.Methods:Total gastric-intestinal nutrition solutions had been used for 12 days in Hepatoma22-bearing mice.According to formulas of amino acid composition in nutrition solutions respectively,the hepatoma22-bearing mice were divided into seven different groups:group A(amino acid balance solution),group B(arginine-enriched amino acid imbalance solution,group C(valine-depleted amino acid imbalance solution)% group D(leusine-enriched amino acid imbalance solution),group E(tyrosine-depleted amino acid imbalance solution),group F(phenylalanine-depleted amino acid imbalance solution),group G(serine-depleted amino acid imbalance solution).Indices of hepatocarcinoma inhibition include tumor volume,tumor weight,tumor weight/carcass body weight,necrotic rate of tumor cell,PCNA and DNA ploidy.Indices of nutrition status include weight lost,transferrin(Trf),prealbumin(PA) and T-cell subgroup.Results:All tumor volume,tumor weight,tumor weight/carcass body weight of group B,C,D,E,F,G were significantly less than those of group A,but necrotic rate of tumor cell and DNA ploidy were no difference between groups. The levels of weight lost were significantly more in group C,D,E,F,G than those in group,A,B.The levels Trf and PA in these groups were not found significantly differences.The level of T-cell subgroup in group B was significantly higher than those in group A.Conclusions:Amino acid balance solution can accelerate tumor growth,whether all of single amino acid imbalance solutions have similar anti-tumor effects.Arginine-enriched amino acid imbalance solution can reserve host's nutrition status of tumor-bearing mice,whether other amino acid imbalance solutions have similar negtive influence on host's nutrition status.
