Evaluative Research Of Treatment Aiming At Lung Distention Based On Literature Compilation

Based on the method of literature compilation, the investigation summarizes and analyzes the representations about treating lung distention involved in Chinese medical literature. Firstly, we study the denomination of lung distention and discover that the appellation of lung distention accords with disease denominate principle of TCM and this disease is highly related to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease of western medicine. Secondly, we analyze the therapeutic characteristics and rules by retrospecting the literature through past dynasties such as the Spring-and-autumn and Warring-states Periods, the Three-kingdom Period, the Sui-Tang and Five Dynasties, the Song-Jin-Yuan Dynasties, the Ming Dynasty, the Qing Dynasty and modern times, and then process our discussion combining theory with clinical practice. Finally, based on results of literature research and our analyses, we emphasize the unification of inheritance and innovation, suggest paying attention to the correlation between TCM and modern medicine, analyze objectively the strongpoint and weakness when treating lung distention by TCM, propose to form a TCM therapeutic system of lung distention and achieve the further study from experiential medication to standard medication.
