| Objective:To detect the expression level of HoxD10in astrocytomas and normal brain tissue, and investigate the association between the expression of HOXD10and pathological grade of astrocytomas, and explore the role of HOXD10in the occurrence and development of astrocytomas.Method:The expression of HOXD10protein in astrocytomas and expression of HOXD10mRNA was detected by real-time PCR. Then, the expression result statistics were analysed by SPSS17.0.Result:1.Using immunohistochemistry, we observed that HOXD10protein expression is higher in normal brain tissue than in astrocytomas.2.Real-time PCR showed that HOXD10mRNA expression is higher in normal brain tissue than in astrocytomas. And the HOXD10mRNA was obviously negative correlated with the pathological grade of astrocytomas.Conclusions:1.The expression of HOXD10protein and HOXD10mRNA were down-regulated in astrocytomas compared with the normal brain tissue.2.The expression of HOXD10was obviously negative correlated with the pathological grade of astrocytomas.3.HOXD10may play an important role during the occurrence and development of astrocytomas, and inhibit the growth of astrocytomas. |
