| Mongolian medical brain vibration therapy is an ancient and mysterious external treatment. It is widespread among the Mongolian people and it possesses features of economic, easy to learn and effective. It is the practical application of dialectic of'cure shakes with shakes, vibration and quiet, first shake and then quite'The long-term clinical research shows that this therapy has effects of treating a concussion-related brain injury, promoting blood circulation, and regulating human body.To optimize Mongolian medical brain vibration therapy and evaluate its clinical efficacy, confirm the safety and rationality from the perspective of mechanics.1.Research on the Mongolian medical treatment in concussion-related brain injury cases.We collected 300 cases (Mongolian medicine and western medicine, each 150) of brain concussion, in the Affiliated Mongolian and Chinese Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical College, Mongolian and Chinese hospital of Inner Mongolia, Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical College, Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia National University, Mongolian Medical Hospital of Hingan district, Mongolian and Chinese hospital of Hulunboir city, Mongolian and Chinese hospital of Baotou city, Mongolian Medicine Research Institution of Ihjoo Prefecture, Mongolian Medicine Research Institution of Xilingol Prefecture, Mongolian Medicine Hospital of Alshaa district during recent 5 years (Jan 1,2003-Dec 31,2007). Based on the therapeutic method, to divided these patients into Mongolian medical group and western medical group, and to compared the curative effect with the two groups, and took notes of the general material, causes, course of disease, therapeutic method, curative effect, prognosis, and using the way of analyzing retrospectively,analyzed and summarized the cases.2.Clinical research on Mongolian brain vibration therapy in concussion-related brain injury.From March 2010 to Jan 2011, in the Affiliated Mongolian and Chinese Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical College, we selected 60 patients who were confirmed as brain concussion, based on the diagnostic criteria of concussion, matched criteria, exclusion criterion. And randomly divided them into two Treatment groups (Mongolian medical treatment group) and control group (western medical routine treatment group), each group have 30 patients. We made a comparison within the overall response rate and symptom of two groups.3.Research on the Theory of Mongolian Medical Brain Vibration Treatment3.1 We invited 25 traditional Mongolian medical experts who have rich clinical experience, and with the human body model (made by Affiliated Mongolian and Chinese Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical College and Shanghai Tengyin educational instrument Company), every expert used their therapy skills to do the brain vibration treatment, and took notes of some data such as the average vibration strength, strength power that a patient's head receive, frequency of spreading to head and made a statistical analysis.3.2 Using the vibration strength of brain concussion treatment obtained from above test, we made a brain concussion treatment test on 60 students volunteer (each 30 males and females).After the test, we made a survey. They were questioned about:headache, vertigo, vibration sense of head, fear and noise. Each survey has a'mild, some, quite, and very' (0,1,2,3, and 4) 4 options.1. Retrospective study on Mongolian medical brain vibration therapy in concussion-related brain injury cases1.1 The overall response rate and stage of treatment of Mongolian medicine group and western medicine group is 97%,94%; 7.02±2.39 d,8.22±2.07d; (P<0.05)1.2 Among the patients who received Mongolian medical brain concussion treatment, male 190, female 110, ratio of males to females is 1.73:1. Mean age of these patients is 35.44±12.2, among these patients, most youths of age are 20-40, accounting for 78.67% of the total. In the occupational distribution, herdsman and peasant are at most, 38.67% of the total concussion case. Among all the concussion causes, contusion injury is at most,31.33%, the next is tumbles,26%.1.3Among the Mongolian Medical brain vibration therapy, the hand treatment "using hands" is at most,22.4% of total. "tread treatment" is at less,3.6%. Among the recovery rate, the treatment therapy "tap with a stick" is at most,90.9% of the total, and most patients received vibration treatment for 3 times.2. Clinical Research on Mongolian Brain Vibration Therapy in Concussion-Related Brain Injury2.1 After the treatment group and control group are started a treatment program,on the third day, and sixth day, and ninth day, the comparison of effective rate has a statistics meaning, (P<0.05), treatment group is 73.3%,93.3%,96.7%, respectively, and control group is 16.7%,86.7%,86.7%, respectively.2.2 After the treatment group and control group are started a treatment program,on the third day, sixth day, ninth day, the comparison of symptom scores have a statistics meaning, (P<0.05), at different stages, the treatment group have a lower symptom scores than the control group.2.3 The comparison of the difference values of the symptom scores before and after treatment have a statistic meaning, the treatment group has a higher difference value than the control group.2.4 After the completion of therapy, the comparison of symptom scores, such as headache, vertigo, tinnitus, sensitive to noise, tiredness, sleep disturbances, nausea, have a statistic meaning (P>0.05), treatment group is lower than the control group. The others don't have a statistic meaning, (P>0.05)3. Research on Theory of the Brain Vibration Treatment3.1 With a mild brain concussion, the average vibration strength is 21.28±4.47N, the largest press that a patient's head receive is 8.6N, frequency of spreading to head is 2.33±0.3 times/s. with a moderate brain concussion, the average vibration strength is 29.96±4.047N, largest press that a patient's head receive is 10.2N, frequency of spreading to head is 2.85±0.32times/s. with a severe brain concussion, the average vibration strength is 42.09±6.32N, largest press that a patient's head receive is 11.6N, frequency of spreading to head is 3.73±1.19 times/s. The vibration strength of the brain treatment, with a mild, moderate, and severe brain concussion, is equivalent to the impact force of a 1.9kg weight vibration pestle falling from 0.28m,0.41m,0.49m, respectively.3.2 Judging from the results of the survey of brain concussion treatment, to research if has a headache or vertigo before and after treatment.The average vibration scores of a patients' head can feel is 1.82±0.39, judging from the scoring standard, the vibration treatment has a vibration effect on the patients'head. The average scores of uncomfortable feeling is 1.05±0.16, judging from the scoring standard, it is close to a little uncomfortable. The average scores of the fear is 0.32±03, judging from the scoring standard, it is close to that a patient would not feel any fear. The average scores of noise are 2.03±0.89, judging from the scoring standard, it is close to having some noise.1.In recent 5 years, the overall response rate of Mongolian brain vibration therapy in treating concussion-related brain injury is higher than western medical treatment. In Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the herdsman, peasant, and youths have the brain concussion. The causes are mainly contusion injury and tumbles. Among the treatment therapy, massage therapy, hitting therapy, stick-tap therapies are widely used. The curative effect of stick-tap therapy and 3-times vibration treatment is liigher; the average course of treatment is 7.02 day.2. The curative effect of Mongolian medical treating concussion is higher effective than routine western medicine treatment, and faster. Mongolian Medical brain vibration therapy is more effective for concussion symptoms such as headache,vertigo,vibration sense of head,fear and noise than western medicine.3.Analyzing from the mechanical aspect, Mongolian brain vibration therapy is a safe and no-side effect treatment. |
