ObjectiveThis randomized controlled clinical trial intends to discuss the curative efficacy and safety of Menstruation-normalization Decoction to treat Menoxenia (Type of Qi Stagnation and Blood Stasis). MethodsResearch objects are patients who met the diagnosis criteria of Menoxenia and TCM syndrome differentiation criteria of Qi Stagnation and Blood Stasis. Use randomized controlled trial method to allocate the qualified subjects into the Treatment Group and the Control Group at the ratio of 1:1. Each group has 50 cases. Observation objects are outpatient clinic patients. Case grouping adopts the simple randomized method. Specific randomized allocation methods: researchers get the random data by SAS (Statistical Analysis System) software, make the random allocation cards, put them into the envelopes and seal them. The envelope serial number is the same as the card serial number. When the qualified cases enter the trial, according to the sequence, they open the envelopes with the same number and receive treatment in the prescribed group. The Treatment Group patients are given Menstruation-normalization Decoction which is decocted by the decocting machine and vacuum filtered and packaged. Get the package of medicine warm by hot water. Take twice a day after mixing with water. The Control Group patients are given Xiang Sha Yi Mu Decoction. Take it after mixing with water twice a day. When the clinical trial ends, summarize the clinical material, input into computer, set up a database and analyze with EPIDATA 3.1 software. Analyze and compare two groups' total clinical curative effect, the clinical symptoms and body sign curative effect, etc. after treatment. At last give objective evaluation of clinical curative effect and efficacy.Statistical methods:The comparison of classified data is expressed by the x2 test and the comparison of ranked data by Wilcoxon rank sum test (adjustment). Two sample's average comparison takes t test or Wilcoxon rank sum test and their self AP comparison takes pair t test or pair Wilcoxon rank sum test. The statistical processing is done by SPSS 17.0 software. ResultsBefore treatment, there's no statistically significant difference comparing their age, disease duration, gravidity, TCM diagnosis, Western Medicine diagnosis, disease degree, menstruation color, menstruation property, general symptoms, urine and stool, the tongue and pulse condition, basic body temperature, hemoglobin content, etc. These indicate that the main factors of prognosis of two groups have balance and comparability. The Treatment Group:the clinical full recovery rate is 30.0%, the excellence rate 30.0%, the effective rate 36.0%, the clinical full recovery and excellence rate 60.0%, the total effective rate 96.0%; the Control Group: the clinical full recovery rate is 22.0%, the excellence rate 26.0%, the effective rate 42.0%, the clinical full recovery and excellence rate 48.0%, the total effective rate 90.0%. Comparing the total curative effect of the two groups, the author finds the differences have remarkable significance (z =211, P=0.03).The two groups'comparison of menstrual volume improvement shows significance after treatment. The two groups'comparison of menstrual cycle and menstruation improvement shows no significance after treatment. The two groups'comparison of symptom improvement of hypogastrium gas pains and difficult menstruation shows significance after treatment. The two groups'comparison of symptom improvement of fatigue, debilitation, sacro-pain, palpitation, breast pain, dizziness, etc. shows no significance after treatment. Two groups'patients have no changes in body of tongues. The two groups'comparison of hemoglobin content improvement shows no significance after treatment.Conclusion1. Menstruation-normalization Decoction has significant advantages over Xiang Sha Yi Mu Decoction in the curative effect of Menoxenia treatment of Qi Stagnation and Blood Stasis. 2. Menstruation-normalization Decoction has significant advantages over Xiang Sha Yi Mu Decoction in the curative effect of symptoms like the abnormal menstruation volume, hypogastrium pain and difficult menstruation. Menstruation-normalization Decoction can improve the Qi and blood deficiency symptoms of patients, like fatigue, debilitation, dizziness, etc. But compared with the Control Group, there's no significant difference.
