Objective:Build up an index system and a theoretical model of adolescent reproductive health synthetical evaluation.Method:Using documentation, panel discussion and the expert evaluation methods to set up the index system and theoretical model of adolescent reproductive health synthetical evaluation. Applying the random sampling method to investigate the current status of adolescent reproductive health, and utilize exploratory factors analysis and structural equation model analysis to verify the theoretical model of adolescent reproductive health synthetical evaluation. Results:Four potential factors are included in the index system of adolescent reproductive health synthetical evaluation:reproductive environment, reproductive knowledge, reproductive attitude and reproductive behavior; while the total explanatory variance is 50.51%. The coefficient of the Cronbach's alpha of questionnaire is 0.714. The theoretical model's GFI=0.949, AGFI=0.929, NFI=0.845, CFI=0.851, RMSEA=0.066, EVCI=0.408.Conclusion:The reliability and validity of the index system of adolescent reproductive health can meet the requirement of surveying science, thus it can evaluate adolescent reproductive health effectively. Objective:Understand the current status of adolescent reproductive health and its influencing factors with the aim to provide basis to carry out adolescent reproductive health education.Method:Apply random cluster sampling method to conduct anonymous questionnaire in Wuhan city and Macheng city in Hubei Province. Taking class as a unit,4607 middle and high school students are investigated by filling in the questionnaires which is released, retrieved uniformly and students should finish the questionnaire independently. Results:The majority of those adolescent has already been equipped with some reproductive knowledge. The scores of girls (64.28±19.22) are significantly higher than that of boys (62.18±22.05) (P<0.001). The scores of high school students (72.04±15.82) are significantly higher than that of middle school students (56.94±21.62) (P<0.001). The scores of students in urban area (66.13±22.08) are significantly higher than that of students living in rural area (60.28±19.07) (P<0.001). The attitude of adolescents toward sex is becoming increasingly open and girls are more significantly conservative compared with boys (P<0.0001). Among all the respondents,17.62% of them have masturbated and the proportion of boys (26.55%) significantly higher than that of girls (7.12%) (P<0.05). 38.54% of them have had sexual fantasies and boys (48.05%) significantly higher than that of girls (26.84%) (P<0.05). The proportions of holding hands, hugging, kissing, caressing and sexual intercourse with the opposite sex are 32.10%,18.22%,8.55%,6.01% and 1.84% respectively. In addition, the proportion of boys (2.31%) who have had sexual experiences is significantly higher than that of girls (1.29%) (P<0.05).Multiple Logistic regression analysis discovers that those adolescents, whose parents have high education level (OR=0.771,OR=0.770) and their fathers have discussed sex-related issues with them (OR=0.702,0.623), their mothers have talked about the sex-related questions with them (OR=0.697,0.646) have higher levels of reproductive knowledge. Boys (OR=1.573) and those got higher scores in reproductive knowledge (OR=1.002) are more likely to support middle or high school students'sexual intercourse. Those who have smoking (OR=2.033) or drinking experiences (OR=1.682) within the past six months and those who are in favor of adolescent sexual intercourse (OR=5.109) are more have sexual intercourse. Conclusion:The current status of adolescents' knowledge, attitudes and behaviors concerning reproductive health is not optimistic. Therefore, family, school and society should pay more attention to that. Objective:Conduct synthetical evaluation of adolescent reproductive health.Method:The synthetical evaluation of adolescent reproductive health is done based on the experts suggestions collected by applying Delphi and use analytic hierarchy process of the system engineering to qualify index weight and fuzzy mathematics synthetical evaluation. Results:The four types of index weight are reproductive attitude (0.4668), reproductive knowledge (0.2776), reproductive behavior (0.1603) and reproductive environment (0.0953). Girls'health synthetical evaluation (73.7502) is significantly higher than that of boys (71.0442) (P<0.05). The scores of middle school students (103.7050) is significantly higher than that of high school students (71.8771) (P<0.05).Conclusion:The health evaluation of girls is superior to boys and the middle school students'health evaluation is better than that of high school students. The synthetical evaluation of adolescent reproductive health is aimed at enabling families, schools and Objective:Evaluate the results of intervention of adolescent reproductive health.Method:Adopt the participatory approach to carry out reproductive health education course so that adolescent reproductive health can be improved. Results:The intervention activities have considerably improved adolescent reproductive knowledge and their total scores have significantly increased from (39.53±22.90) to (59.70±20.09) through the intervention (P<0.0001). The intervention fails to influence adolescent attitudes to pre-marital sex behavior and unable to enhance the level of self-acceptance as well as their skills to reject. It is also cannot lessen the probability of adolescent intimate behaviors with the opposite sex. Conclusion:The intervention activities have remarkably improved the level of adolescent reproductive health knowledge but fail to change adolescent reproductive attitudes, awareness and behaviors. Therefore, we should pay more attention to adolescent reproductive health and continue to provide reproductive education and service to them.
