Processing unit in scientific computation can be divided into general computing device and dedicated computing device. General computing device has strong universality but low efficiency. Dedicated computing device has limited flexibility but high efficiency. Reconfigurable computing device is becoming a compromise settlement between general and dedicated computing device since last few years. It can play the role of dedicated computing to perform a task with high efficiency, and can switch from different functionality by dynamic reconfiguration.The current generic reconfigurable computing has fine grain, in order to meet the requirements of versatility, flexibility. It made the large cost of management, scheduling, reconstruction. Therefore, based on the developed the theory and technology of reconfigurable, the PRCA (Proactive Reconfigurable Computing Architecture) architecture concept has been proposed, which introduced and expanded the concept of reconfigurable component. Therefore, the logic gates, on-chip logic block, IP core, the subsystem components are multi-dimensional reconfigurable of "reconfigurable particle."Based on the cognize of application property, QoS, system load change, components resources, the PRCA system identify the needs of the application and the application changes. The computing resources dynamically match the demand of applications, according to efficient and security principle. The structure is build to suite applications processing, and the structure varies with applications change, such as:the stage of calculating, the processing load, etc. This is the concept of structure suit the application.PRCA architecture has many advantages, of course, there are also considerable challenges. Based on this background, this paper is mainly to solve their several key issues in the implementation process, the contents of this article are also several issues surrounding the main work and innovations include:1.A multi-dimension feature model based on application characteristics is proposed. An expression which shows the application features with eigenvector and Eigen matrix is established. Operation method restricted by related definition and related properties is given. The detail about construction of feature tree, quantification of features, construction of Eigen space and the algorithm of feature clustering are all given in this thesis. The construction of feature tree is illustrated by an Internet application.2. The calculation task is decomposed into relatively independent sub process based on the feature of algorithm.A method of applying granulitizati to the calculating kernel based on rough set theory is proposed. Various applications can be cut up to some calculating kernels with commonness through this method.It also provides a theoretical basis for increasing multiplexing of hardware resources with high efficiency and flexibility.3.The structure of hardware is divided into application structure and meta-structure. The detail about combination and transformation of meta-structure is discussed. A space time calculation model based on meta-structure is proposed for achieving efficiency calculation. The feature of this model is analyzed from the dimension of time, space and cost. A unified view of heterogeneous resources is established.4. Starting from the fuzzy cost function, taking the complex relationship with both competition and cooperation as study object, the many-to-many mapping between algorithm and structure is implemented using the method of game theory. Experimental results showed that this method can achieve balance between application and resources according to the parameters of specific task, environment, status etc. and the target of equilibrium optimization between application and system.5.A multidimensional evaluation system is established to evaluate the multidimensional calculation model.The relationship between different indexes is also studied.For demonstrating correctness and efficiency of this calculation mode, a specific application oriented reconfigurable computing verification platform is constructed with the multidimensional evaluation system.
