War and high-stress military maneuver cause people fierce stress reaction. When serious they can make soldiers lose their fighting capacity, directly resulting in noneffectives in the battle. The importance of military stress reaction lies not only in its significance of military medical psychology but also in its military significance, for whether fighting stress causing noneffectives is properly prevented and handled influences morale and combat effectiveness. If properly prevented and handled, combatants are in moderate fighting stress state, which not only reduces the incidence of no-neffectives but also raises and intensifies morale and combat effectiveness. If not properly prevented and handled, combatants are easy to produce over-strong military stress, resulting in the increased noneffectives and thus hurting morale and combat effectiveness. Military strategists prophesy that in the future war an important factor deciding the outcome is the troop's capacity to cope with fighting stress.
