Diabetic cognitive dysfunction, which is an important causative factor of dementia, s a kind of clinical syndrome caused by the damage of diabetes to central nerve system and manifested by decreased memory, impaired attention, inflexible thought and decreased generalization capacity. Along with the medical model transforming from biomedicine into bio-psyco-social medicine, people all over the world come to pay great attention to the perniciousness of the diabetic cognitive dysfunction gradually. it is important to prevent and treat diabetic cognitive dysfunction for the forthcoming aging society.
