Under the global manufacturing environment, the optimization deployment ofnetworked manufacturing resources is the key and basic technology for realizingcooperative manufacturing among different places, and has been a new study hotspotin the integration manufacturing field. This paper is oriented to the practicalrequirements of complicated components' subcontract machining and cooperativemanufacturing among aviation manufacturing enterprises. The information modelingquestions for manufacturing task object and manufacturing resource object, and thequestion of networked manufacturing resource optimization deployment (namely thequestion of mapping relation between manufacturing task object and manufacturingresource object and the question of this relation's optimization with some restrictions)are studied taking process flow as core. Theory foundation for realizing optimizationdeployment of manufacturing resources is established. The research results aresummarized as:(1) The basic theory of networked manufacturing resources optimizationdeployment is studied under the new cooperative manufacturing environment. Thenew conception—Agility Manufacturing Process (AMP), based on LogicalManufacturing Unit (LMU), Physical Manufacturing Unit (PMU), LogicalManufacturing Process (LMP), Executive Manufacturing Process (EMP) and so on,are advanced. The basic conception model and realization process model areestablished taking process flow as core. The networked manufacturing resourcesoptimization deployment covers three basic processes: LMU-PMU mapping, filteringPMU and creating AMP. Then, realization project is presented.(2) For the manufacturing task express and information model, the informationmodel of networked collaborative manufacturing task is set up. Abstractly, usingLMU to express manufacturing sub-tasks and using LMP to express the wholemanufacturing task is put forward. The logical structure and information model ofLMU and LMP are defined, and according to the manufacturing process flowconsidering process knowledge and order form information, the intelligent designmethod for LMU and LMP is given.(3) For the distributed manufacturing resources, a new organizing and managingmodel based on PMU, working cell and physical equipment is proposed. Using theOOM (Object-Oriented Methodology), the information of PMU is modeled frombasic information, manufacturing ability information, physical composing, stateinformation, tool and fixture information. For the convenience of resourcesoptimization deployment, the manufacturing ability information of PMU isencapsulated by LMU. Then, the XML Schema of networked manufacturingresources information model is defined, and the information integration approachbased on XML for manufacturing resources is studied.(4) The dynamic and re-configurable manufacturing resources pre-deploymentsolution is researched, and it includes mapping LMU-PMU and filtering PMU. In theaspect of LMU-PMU mapping, the LMU-PMU mapping flow, the mapping relation operation and the mapping rules are defined, and the two grade reasoning process forLMU-PMU mapping is presented based on knowledge. In the aspect of PMU filtering,the evaluation system for PMU is built according to manufacturing ability, servicelevel, flexibility, credit standing and enterprise grade, and the calculating process forfiltering PMU based on AHP is given.(5) For optimizing and creating AMP (namely EMP optimization selection), arealizing algorithm based on GA is proposed to produce the optimal EMP, namelyAMP. For the three objectives—the least total running cost, time and the best quality,the mathematics model of optimizing and creating AMP is established. Byintroducing influence factor, the multi-objectives fuzzy decision-making basic modelbased on GA is studied, and the validity of this model is proved. Then, the algorithmfor optimizing and creating AMP is designed on the basis of this model.(6) The system construction and operation flow of Networked manufacturingresources optimization deployment platform (namely Net-MROD) are put forward.And designing functions and developing software system are finished. The integratedapplication between Net-MROD and each sub-system of "The ManufacturingProcess Management System Based on Resource Optimization Deployment" isrealized. Taking the turbine blade of an aeroengine and the die of refrigeratory astypical cases, the application process and running result of Net-MROD are given.Thus, the theory, method and model proposed in this paper are validated.
