Study On The Dynamic Performance And Controtlling Methods Of Belt Conveyor

Experiments are carried out in the laboratory to examine the dynamic parameters with different belt tension and exciting frequency. To obtain the results that best approach the belt's working state, the experiments are taken under the conveyor's real running conditions.The boundary conditions that influence the dynamic performance of the belt are considered and evaluated. Mathematical and physical models of the belt conveyor are built, according to the models, a simulation software is programmed for the dynamic performance of belt conveyor. With the software, conveyor's starting period is simulated in different types of driving,take-up,load and other boundary conditions to find out the configurations to lower the peak-tension.With the research and simulation results, the author developed the controlling methods and designed a driving device and a self-controlled take-up device and conducted a detailed theoretical analysis for them with proof of experiments.
