The research content of this dissertation include two main part, the first is the design and analysis of deployable antenna on satellites and the second is the analysis of cable-membrane structure & the development of CAD system for this kind of structure.Following the developing of the aeronautical technology, higher request was brought forward to deployable antenna on satellites from every relative field. A lot of structural concept for deployable antenna was given out by aeronautic scholar. Astromesh deployable antenna is one of them, which has most potential for space application. At the same time, it is an important content of this paper.The distribution of pre-stress in parabolic net of Astromesh deployable antenna plays an important role in design and analysis of this kind of deployable antenna, a common method to solve this problem is non-linear finite element method. A new method was given out in this paper, which is based on the singular value decomposition of the balance matrix of truss, followed by the method of optimization under linear constrained condition. An analysis program for this method was developed. The rightness o f t his method w as proven by the analysis and verify of engineering example. Relative key concept and technique of this method was described in detail in this paper, such as the decomposition of balance matrix, the modes of self-stress, the modes of inextensional mechanisms, the analysis model of optimization under linear constrained condition, the integration of constrained matrix.A large Astromesh deployable antenna which is a project supported by state committee was designed and analyzed in this paper. The design and analysis process was described in detail. Through the parallel analysis of four common type of cable-net for Astromesh antenna and the parameterized analysis of every kind of structural parameter, the influence to static and dynamic characteristic of Astromesh deployable antenna by the type of cable-net and every kind of structural parameter was given out. The work will give useful advice for the design and analysis of this kind of antenna.Recently, cable-membrane was developed very quickly in our country. Its design and analysis can be divided into three parts as the form-finding analysis, the loading analysis and the cutting analysis. To the form-finding analysis, three common analysis methods were described and accordingly equations were educed. A new method of form-finding analysis was presented in this paper. This method was based on the balance of node, and use sub-structure as a numerical analysis method. Accordingly equation was educed, and analysis program was developed. Through the analysis of classic example and engineering example, its feasibility was verified. At the same time, its merit and defect were given out also. To its defect, accordingly solution was given out.In the field o f c able-membrane CAD, the method to develop c able-membrane C AD which has own graphic system was described. A new type data-structure which is very suitable for graphical process the model of cable-membrane structure was presented in detail. Through the developing instance, the maneuverability of this type of data-structure was verified. The cable-membrane CAD(CMCAD) which is developed in this paper has the basic function for the design and analysis of cable-membrane structure.
