Research On The Operation And Management Mode Of Urban Reading Space In China Based On The Perspective Of Public Libraries

After entering the 21 st century,the construction of the public library general branch system in China has gradually developed comprehensively,coupled with the influence of the national reading strategy,China’s public libraries continue to innovate the public cultural service model and expand the scope of service radiation.Urban reading space as an important content in recent years combined with China’s cultural development,its rapid growth and achieve important results in the context of the national vigorous implementation of the development of public cultural service system and the growing cultural needs of the people.Although the development of China’s urban reading space is relatively short,but the development speed is extremely fast,the development results are quite fruitful,and its development status,problems and trends are worth examining.This paper analyzes the current situation of urban reading space operation and management under different operation and management models,mainly from the perspective of public libraries,in order to study the experience and problems of different operation and management modes of urban reading spaces,and provide countermeasures for improving the operation efficiency of urban reading spaces in China.This paper outlines the development status of urban reading spaces in China in terms of development history,policy support and development characteristics,and divides the operation and management mode of urban reading spaces into two modes,namely,direct government supply mode and social force participation supply mode,according to whether the government directly supplies urban reading space services or not.Among them,the social force participation supply mode is divided into the public-private partnership mode and the overall outsourcing mode according to the main body of supply.This paper summarizes the strengths and weaknesses of different operation and management models of urban reading spaces based on a combination of interview methods,literature research methods,network survey methods,case study methods,and comparative research methods,and then proposes countermeasures to optimize the operation and management of urban reading spaces.This study aims to improve the theoretical research of urban reading space operation and management mode,to provide certain research directions for further research on the development prospect of urban reading space,to propose optimization strategies for the operation and management mode of urban reading space in China,and to promote the accelerated development of public cultural service system.
