Liaocheng folk songs are simple in melody,diverse in theme,humorous and simple in lyrics.The main genres are chants and minor tunes."Shouzhang Yellow River Tamping" and "Linqing tune" were included in the intangible cultural heritage list of Shandong Province in2009.As the representative of the excellent traditional culture in Liaocheng,Liaocheng folk songs are the crystallization created by the local people in their long-term working life,the portrayal of the real life of Liaocheng people,and have strong cultural and traditional aesthetic connotations.It is of practical significance to introduce Liaocheng folk songs into local school classrooms as teaching contents to enable students to understand and love local traditional culture,improve music aesthetics,and enhance national awareness and patriotism.This article takes Liaocheng folk songs into music classes as the research object,and takes pedagogy,ethnomusicology and other relevant theories as the guidance to conduct a case study of local folk song teaching in Liaocheng Zhenxing Middle School.Through many visits and surveys,more than 160 Liaocheng folk songs were collected.Based on the analysis of Liaocheng folk songs,the current situation of schools,teachers’ understanding and teaching attitude towards local folk songs,and students’ understanding and learning attitude towards Liaocheng folk songs,it is found that there are rich teaching resources of Liaocheng folk songs,but there are some problems such as teachers’ little grasp of local folk songs,students’ little understanding of Liaocheng folk songs,and weak interest in learning.In view of this,before teaching practice,according to the content of Liaocheng folk songs,the psychological and physiological development characteristics of middle school students,Referring to the teaching experience of folk songs in other places,we have preliminarily designed a set of feasible teaching plans.We have selected three teaching cases,namely Shou Zhang Tam No.-Walking with Relatives,Linqing Times-Sada Pok,and Liaocheng Folk Songs-Truth,to present the classroom teaching situation.In combination with the teaching practice process and students’ learning feedback,we have put forward feasible suggestions from the level of teaching objectives,teaching forms,and school teachers,so that students can understand Liaocheng folk songs,Can sing Liaocheng folk songs,understand and inherit the purpose of local music culture,and provide reference for the teaching of Liaocheng folk songs in junior high school music class.
