In the new media era, social media platforms have become an important channel for information dissemination and public opinion generation. The information dissemination of users on social media platforms, especially in emergencies,is often mixed with a lot of emotions, and it is very easy to infect, resonate with other users and even trigger group behaviors that endanger social stability. Therefore,as the core force of emergency management, the government and relevant departments should make good use of the guiding high-level driving force of user emotion to do a good job in social emotion counseling. In order to analyze user emotions on social media platforms in emergencies in a more targeted manner, this study combines the emotional infection theory of communication and computer science sentiment analysis model to select the "Guangzhou 521 epidemic" event with typical cases and high data availability. As a case study,Sina Weibo, the birthplace of large-scale public opinion,is used as the platform for this user sentiment research.Python crawler code is written to crawl user blog posts under the topic #Guangzhou Epidemic# for collection, and LSTM is used to perform sentiment analysis on the blog post data, constructed an emotional resonance model and finally verified and analyzed the negative emotional resonance and positive emotional infection and resonance in the "Guangzhou 521 epidemic" event based on the two major paths of emotional resonance. The study found that when a public health emergency occurs, the emotions of microblog users are very likely to have emotional resonance with similar previous events and generate resonance peaks with greater emotional intensity than before. Therefore, the outbreak and accumulation of a large number of negative emotions for users should not only start from the event itself, but also take into account the entire social environment, and also need to see the social emotions hidden behind the users.Only in this way can we better understand the user’s emotional evolution mechanism, and we can more scientifically sort out and guide phenomena that can easily lead to collective behavior, such as negative user emotions in the outbreak. In addition, the study takes the "Guangzhou 521 epidemic" as an example, and proposes that there are four stages of emotional evolution in public health emergencies: budding, outbreak, spread and dissipation of user emotions.Among them, the infection and resonance of positive emotions on the user’s emotions during the budding period of emotions can be the most effective way to ease the user’s emotions. In addition, the study believes that the user’s emotional curve of different subjects,as well as the user’s emotional fluctuations and emotional focus at different stages can also represent the user’s potential emotional crisis to a certain extent.By responding to emotional focus in a targeted manner,it can better promote the dissipation of negative emotions and effective resolution of the crisis. Finally, this study proposed that the government and relevant departments should deal with the emotional counseling strategies of microblog users in different emotional evolution stages, including:clarifying the process of event development and evolution;different and targeted guidance for user emotions in different stages and different types of events;build an emotion monitoring system based on the big data platform, and do a good job in the resonating with users’ positive emotions and counseling their emotions afterwards, and timely reflect, summarize and improve the unreasonable and imperfect phenomena in the process.
