| The Chinese Language Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)proposes a learning task group of "whole book reading",which is an innovative concept of Chinese language curriculum reform,an important carrier to break through the dilemma of subject education,an important measure to cultivate students’ good reading habits,broaden their reading horizons,and further eliminate the gap between students and famous works.It is also a booster for teachers to innovate teaching methods and improve teaching abilities.The book Camel Xiangzi is not only a required reading list for the second volume of the seventh grade of junior high school in the unified edition,but also an important recommended reading material in the curriculum standards,highlighting its important position in Chinese language teaching.This article is based on the learning task group of Camel Xiangzi and "Whole Book Reading",and explores the teaching path of Camel Xiangzi whole book reading on the basis of summarizing previous research results.It is expected to provide reference for middle school whole book reading teaching.This article conducts a theoretical analysis based on the review of the entire book reading and the current research status of the entire book reading teaching of Camel Xiangzi.It defines the concept and connotation of the entire book reading from the three aspects of "whole","book",and "reading",clarifies the characteristics of the entire book reading in terms of reading awareness,reading time,reading process,and reading guidance.The focus is on analyzing the adherence to the curriculum standards The role of assisting students in the middle school entrance examination and improving their reading ability,and exploring the value of reading teaching the entire book Camel Xiangzi in enhancing students’ core Chinese literacy in conjunction with the "New Curriculum Standards".Subsequently,through student survey questionnaires and teacher interview questionnaires,we learned about the current status of reading teaching for the entire book Camel Xiangzi.Based on the organization of relevant data,we summarized the problems of low reading literacy,absent reading guidance,outdated teaching concepts,and insufficient teaching evaluation in the implementation process of the entire book reading teaching of Camel Xiangzi.We also delved into the causes of the problems from the perspectives of society,teachers,and students.This article attempts to optimize the teaching strategy for reading the entire book Camel Xiangzi.Therefore,starting from the problems in the teaching of reading the entire book Camel Xiangzi,and based on a comprehensive consideration of the textbook,curriculum standards,learning situation,and the stylistic characteristics of Camel Xiangzi,a teaching strategy that includes three dimensions: teaching objectives,teaching methods,and teaching evaluation is presented,attempting to improve the current situation of reading teaching for the entire book Camel Xiangzi.In order to implement teaching strategies and make the teaching design of reading the entire book Camel Xiangzi implementable,the first step is to coordinate the reading version and reading time in the teaching design to ensure students’ directional and consistent pace when reading Camel Xiangzi;Secondly,a teaching design consisting of three lesson segments was planned based on the different types of reading for the entire book.By creating reading guidance scenarios,conducting thematic discussions,and displaying various activities,the teaching design for the entire book Camel Xiangzi was made smoother and more coherent. |
