Research On The Guidance Mechanism Of Grassroots Employment For College Students In The New Era

Faced with the severe employment situation,the CPC and the state have successively issued a series of guiding documents on grassroots employment policies.In the new era,General Secretary Xi Jinping attaches great importance to the issue of grassroots employment for college students and has made a series of important statements on this issue,providing scientific and theoretical guidance for the grassroots employment of college students in the new era.College students are the builders and successors of the new era,and the backbone of grassroots construction and development.Encouraging and guiding college students in the new era to work at the grassroots level is not only a demand of the times,but also the mission of universities.Therefore,it is urgent and significant to continuously improve the guidance mechanism for the grassroots employment of college students in the new era.By employing both questionnaire survey and interview methods,a comprehensive study was conducted on college students and related personnel at several universities in Qingdao,such as Ocean University of China and Qingdao University.Additionally,the annual report on employment quality of university graduates was taken into consideration.The survey results were analyzed using the advanced SPSS26.0 statistical analysis software,aiming to provide a deep insight into the willingness of college students in the new era to work at the grassroots level,the status of the guidance mechanism of universities in this regard,and the effectiveness of such guidance.The findings of this research indicate that the guidance mechanism of universities has achieved considerable results in promoting grassroots employment policies,strengthening the role of universities in serving grassroots employment,and influencing the flow of college students’ employment regions.However,some critical issues still need to be addressed,such as inadequate specialized grassroots employment institutions,imperfect construction of courses related to grassroots employment,insufficient investment in grassroots employment funds,and inadequate incentive measures for grassroots employment.The weak coordination among external parties also poses a significant challenge.In light of the existing problems in the guidance mechanism of universities for college students in the new era to work at the grassroots level,the analysis suggests that the backwardness,formalization,and utilitarianism of employment guidance work are the main obstacles.Regarding the problems and reasons for the guidance mechanism of grassroots employment for college students in the new era,this article explores the development path of college guidance and improves the mechanism for guiding college students’ grassroots employment in the new era from five aspects:improving the organizational mechanism of guidance in universities,promoting the implementation mechanism of guidance in universities,strengthening the guarantee mechanism for guidance in universities,improving incentive mechanism for guidance in universities,and promoting collaborative mechanism from various external parties.The aim is to guide college students in the new era to establish a correct employment outlook,actively engage in grassroots construction,and better contribute to the construction of a Chinese modernization.
