The Chinese teaching materials compiled by the Ministry divides comprehensive learning as a separate teaching unit,and attaches great importance to the teaching development of comprehensive learning unit in the compilation of teaching materials.Comprehensive Chinese learning not only meets the needs of the development of the current era for the development of comprehensive and comprehensive talent,but also fulfills the current trend of basic education reform,as well as the practical needs of Chinese teaching classroom growth.Chinese comprehensive learning not only has the learning characteristics of Chinese education,but also links Chinese classroom with social practice,and expands the closed Chinese classroom into an open Chinese world,to assist students in learning Chinese while also enhancing their practical and comprehensive abilities in order to boost students’ overall growth.However,there are still some issues that need to be addressed in the actual teaching of comprehensive Chinese learning,and more research on the subject is required.Based on the theories of life education theory and constructivism theory,this work unifies and combines the relevant literature of comprehensive Chinese learning,to explore the unit teaching situation of Chinese comprehensive study in the senior grade of primary school from four perspectives,using the methods of questionnaire,interview,and classroom observation: teaching understanding of the comprehensive learning unit between teachers and students,teachers’ and students’ attitudes and views on the unit teaching of Chinese comprehensive study,and the implementation of unit teaching of comprehensive study,and the teaching evaluation of the comprehensive learning unit four aspects of the teaching of senior Chinese comprehensive learning unit,the results show that there are the following problems in unit teaching: teachers and students do not fully understand the teaching of integrated learning unit,the teaching hours of integrated learning unit are few,the teaching guidance of integrated learning unit is improper,the teaching form of integrated learning unit is not scientific,and the teaching evaluation of integrated learning unit is lack of diversity.According to the investigation and analysis,the causes of these problems lie in teachers and students’ lack of systematic study of comprehensive study,the influence of current teaching environment,comprehensive learning unit teaching is low attention,lack of the teaching and training mechanism of the comprehensive learning unit and the concept of comprehensive learning and evaluation is outdated.As a result,this study suggests the following measures for improving the teaching of Chinese comprehensive learning in upper grades of primary schools,based on an examination of the current situation and combined with experience teaching of Chinese comprehensive learning: firstly,teachers and students should strengthen the systematic study of integrated learning;secondly,the teaching hours of integrated learning unit should be set up rationally;thirdly,the teaching guidance of Integrated Learning Unit should be strengthened;fourthly,the teaching activities of integrated learning unit should be carried out scientifically;fifth,improve the teaching evaluation system of comprehensive learning units,with a view to improving the current teaching situation of Chinese comprehensive learning in senior primary schools.
