| Under the background of the continuous advancement of the comprehensive reform of college entrance examination,the new textbooks have gradually replaced the old textbooks and became the mainstream.In the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,starting from the autumn of 2022,regular high schools will switch to the 2019 version of the senior high school chemistry textbooks published by people’s education press instead of the 2007 version.In order to better adapt to this change,educators need to have a deep understanding of the differences between the two versions of the textbook,and the big changes of after-class exercises is a good starting point.As for afterclass exercises,The Chemistry Curriculum Standards for General High School(2017 Edition,2020 revision)regards them as a kind of evaluation of daily learning of chemistry,and at the same time has the function of developing students’ chemical core literacy.After-Class exercises are an important component of textbooks,and their adjustments and updates directly reflect the ideas of the new textbooks,new curriculum reforms,and the new college entrance examination,as well as the direction of talent cultivation.From macro and micro perspectives,this paper makes a multidimensional comparative study of the two editions of the textbook exercises,finds out the differences and analyzes the reasons behind the differences,so that teachers can deeply understand the content changes of the textbooks,apply the exercises efficiently and reasonably,and improve the teaching effect.The comparative analysis from a macro perspective shows that in terms of the number of after-class exercises,the new version of the textbook is reduced compared with the old version of the textbook.The number difference between the groups of the new version of exercises is not large,reflecting the balance,the number difference between the groups of the old version of exercises is large,highlighting the key point.In terms of the types of after-class exercises,the new unconventional questions are mainly comprehensive questions,which is different from the old ones which are mainly information query questions.In terms of the changes of the four types of routine exercises,the multiple-choice questions changed from practical to flexible and meticulous.The blank filling questions changed from extensive examination scope to knowledge transfer;Short answer has changed from closely related to life to closely following the development of The Times;The calculation problem has changed from emphasizing the abstract calculation skills to emphasizing the real situation calculation ability.The comparative analysis from the micro perspective shows that in terms of the examination of core literacy,the new version has more times than the old edition.It is the most common examination of macro identification and micro analysis,evidential reasoning and model cognition in two editions,while the less frequent examination is scientific attitude and social responsibility,which is related to the easy combination of macro and micro questions,strong concomitance of evidential reasoning and the situational dependence of attitude responsibility.At the same time,the new version of the test of compound literacy exercises more than the old version,this paper gives the corresponding table of question number for teachers to inquire.In terms of the academic quality level of the exercises,the two textbooks have more questions at level 1and level 2,some exercises are at level 3,and there are no exercises at level 4,which indicates the two textbooks focus on laying a solid foundation for students.According to the academic quality level,the exercises are summarized and sorted out,so that the exercises of required difficulty can be selected in the corresponding table in the paper.In terms of high-frequency knowledge points examined by exercises,the new version pays more attention to essential rules,disciplinary integration and knowledge network,while the old version pays more attention to knowledge acquisition and practical operation.According to the survey,students generally think that teachers handle the exercises in the new textbooks well,and the exercises set for homework are reasonable in every aspect;They can realize that the after-class exercises pay more attention to the examination of ability and literacy,and give suggestions according to the merits of the after-class exercises.However,there are also problems such as not positive attitude towards error correction and high negativity of false attribution.Teachers think that the design of after-class exercises in new edition of the textbook is scientific and reasonable,and they are often used in class explanation and assignment;Teachers often choose extracurricular exercises to supplement;There is also insufficient research and attention to the exercises.After summarizing from the macro,micro,survey and interview aspects,this paper gives three relevant suggestions: The selection of exercises should be dominated by the new version and supplemented by the old version;Error correction and attribution analysis are carried out when exercises are used,and content is optimized and more interesting when exercises are adapted. |
