Research On The Application Of Inquiry Teaching In High-level Science Teaching Of Primary Schools

As a teaching method,inquiry teaching is applied to high-level science teaching in primary schools,aiming at studying the influence of this teaching method on teaching effect.Primary school science curriculum is a comprehensive basic curriculum,practical,and gradually received attention and concern,and good teaching method is the basic guarantee of effective teaching of this course.Inquiry teaching enables students to experience the analysis,exploration and communication of problems,so as to obtain correct viewpoints and systematic knowledge,which can cultivate students’ thinking ability.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the effect of inquiry-based teaching applied to the science classroom in primary schools.With the theme of the application of inquiry teaching in high-level science teaching of primary schools,and conducts systematic research by literature research,experimental research,questionnaire survey and interview.Firstly,the application of inquiry teaching in primary school science teaching is summarized by literature research.Secondly,Class 4,Grade 5 and Class 3,Grade 5 of S Primary School in M City are selected as the experimental class and the control class.The experimental class uses the teaching method of inquiry teaching,while the control class adopts the original teaching method.Before and after the teaching experiment,the two classes were tested on the science papers respectively,and the differences of the results are compared and analyzed.After the experiment,questionnaires and interviews were used to investigate whether the students’ learning interest,cooperation and communication ability was affected after the application of inquisitive teaching in the experimental class.Interviews were used to understand whether the students’ practical ability was affected.SPSS20.0 software is used to further analyze the data of before and after test of science achievement and questionnaire,it provides strong support for the application of inquiry based teaching in the advanced science teaching in primary schools.The application of inquiry teaching can not only improve students’ academic performance and enhance their interest in learning,but also cultivate their practical,cooperative,and communication abilities.
