Research On The Social Adaptability Of Returned Overseas Chines

China is one of the most abundant overseas Chinese resources in the world.Returned overseas Chinese and their relatives are the link and bridge between our country and overseas Chinese.Huizhou is one of the important hometown cities of overseas Chinese in Guangdong.There are 12,000 returned overseas Chinese.Due to various reasons,some returned overseas Chinese have long-term social adjustment problems after returning to China.In this paper,non-structured interview and other research methods are used to analyze the social adaptability of returned overseas Chinese in Huizhou City as the research object,which is specifically reflected in the confusion of identity under the multi-mobility,the ambivalence of gain and loss,and the dilemma of communication between overseas and local relatives for a long time.The social adaptation of returned overseas Chinese is more from the psychological and cognitive level.Based on this,this paper applies case work,specifically adopts narrative therapy of case work,analyzes the problems of the patients by combining the problems of the patients,and conducts action research through the intervention of narrative therapy to solve the problems of the patients.From the results of case intervention,it can be seen that the narrative therapy of case work is effective in clarifying the client’s cognition,reconstructing the client’s life narrative and cognitive narrative,and then affecting the client’s adaptive attitude and adaptive behavior.It also shows that the case narrative therapy of social work can play a role in the individual enhancement of the clients,guiding their active adaptation,interpersonal enhancement and social enhancement.Our country’s economic and social development is rapid,and the number of returned overseas Chinese living abroad is showing a fast growth trend year by year.We pay attention to social adaptation of returned overseas Chinese groups and explore appropriate methods to assist them adapt smoothly to the life in their country,so as to stay the returned overseas Chinese group and play positive roles for the economic and social development of our country.Based on the case study of returned overseas Chinese in Huizhou City,this paper discusses the intervention of case work in the social adaptation of returned overseas Chinese,and attempts to refine the intervention mode of social work suitable for the social adaptation of returned overseas Chinese,which has certain practical significance for doing well the work of overseas Chinese affairs in the new era and properly serving returned overseas Chinese.
