The knowledge of historical geography has a great influence on history teaching in middle school,and has aroused the widespread concern of academic circles and front-line teachers.In teaching practice,the knowledge of historical geography not only plays a role in interdisciplinary teac hing,but also plays a role in cultivating students’ concept of time and space,and the two integrate and complement each other.In view of the important role of the knowledge of historical geography,the academic circles and front-line teachers have sorted out and classified the knowledge of historical geography in middle school history textbooks,explored its application methods,and made surprising achievements.However,there is still some research space to be expanded.In view of this,on the basis of interpreting the relevant knowledge points of historical geography in history textbooks,this paper explores the ways to cultivate students’ space-time concept literacy by using the knowledge of historical geography.This paper is mainly divided into the following five parts.In the introduction part,the author introduces the reason of the topic selection from the demand of cultivating the junior middle school students ’space-time Concept Literacy,and also introduces the research status,research methods,research ideas,innovations and deficiencies.In the first chapter,the core concepts of “Space-time concept” and“Historical geography knowledge” and the relationship between historical geography knowledge and space-time concept cultivation are expounded,secondly,it introduces the theory of the zone of proximal development,the theory of learning transfer and the theory of historical geography,and finally explains the necessity of using the knowledge of historical geography in history teaching in middle school.The second chapter is mainly about the investigation and analysis of the current situation and existing problems of the application of historical geography knowledge in history teaching in junior middle school.Based on the analysis of the results of the questionnaire distributed and collected by junior middle school teachers and students,this paper discusses the problems and causes of the application of historical geography knowledge in history teaching in junior middle school.The third chapter first sorts out the historical geography knowledge in the junior Middle School History Textbook “Chinese History” according to the historical physical geography and the historical human geography,then,according to the two categories of historical physical geography and historical human geography,the author interprets the historical geography knowledge in the Junior High School History Textbook compiled by the ministry.The Fourth Chapter Mainly Studies “The strategy and matters needing attention of the application of the historical geography knowledge in the junior high school history teaching under the space-time concept field of vision”.First of all,this paper introduces the Teaching Strategies of historical geography knowledge in junior high school history textbooks f rom the perspective of space-time concept.Secondly,this paper analyzes the problems that need to be paid attention to in the application of historical geography knowledge in history teaching in junior middle school.The fifth chapter mainly studies the teaching cases of historical geography knowledge from the perspective of space-time concept.This paper explores how to use the knowledge of historical geography to cultivate students’ spatiotemporal awareness according to the two categories of historical physical geography and historical human geography,in order to make a more intuitive exposition of teaching cases on strategies and matters needing attention.
