| STEM Education attempts to integrate multiple disciplines such as science,technology,engineering and mathematics,eliminate barriers between disciplines,and cultivate comprehensive talents with problem-solving ability and innovation ability.With the increasing attention of STEM education,some problems in the primary STEM curriculum cannot be ignored,and domestic STEM lacks corresponding curriculum standards.In order to achieve the goal of cultivating students’ interdisciplinary thinking and comprehensive ability in STEM education,this study proposes to integrate advanced learning into STEM activity teaching,and practice it in front-line education teaching,and explore the impact of STEM activities on students’ knowledge construction,learning attitude and ability improvement under the advanced learning theory.Firstly,this study uses the literature analysis method to analyze and organize the domestic and foreign research reviews of advanced learning and STEM education to understand their development trends.Secondly,in order to understand the implementation status of STEM activities in primary schools and the changes in students’ creativity,a questionnaire was designed to analyze the learning situation according to the data results of the questionnaire.Thirdly,to understand the characteristics of students’ cognitive development,learn from the teaching design models of predecessors,and design a STEM activity teaching design model based on advanced learning.Finally,according to the teaching design model,the activities of "Perception of Sound"are selected for teaching practice,and after the activities,classroom observation,activity work evaluation,back-side survey,and creativity tendency survey are carried out to test the effectiveness of STEM activity teaching design based on learning progression.Through the analysis of experimental results,it can be obtained that STEM activities based on learning progression can stimulate students’ interest in learning;STEM activities based on learning progression can cultivate students’ comprehensive abilities such as problem-solving ability and creativity.Therefore,integrating advanced learning into STEAM activities is effective in practice. |
