Research On Risk Identification And Assessment Of Competition Environment Among The Elite Athletes Of Triathlon

Triathlon was introduced to China in the 1980s,and was listed as an Olympic event by the International Olympic Committee in 1994.Elite triathletes such as Bai Faquan and Zhong Mengying emerged as the leader of my country’s competitive triathlon.However,at present,the whole competition level has not reached the international first-class level.There are many uncertain factors affecting the performance of the competition,and the risk factor of the competition environment is one of them.It is an important task to comprehensively identify and effectively evaluate the risk of elite triathlon athletes in the competition environment by seizing the research perspective of "environment of sport competition",then using the theory and method of risk identification and assessment combined with the triathlon competition to comprehensively and systematically analyze elite triathlon athletes’competition environment,so as to provide theoretical guidance for athletes to give full play to their sports level in the competition and achieve the expected competition results.Based on the literature data method,expert interview method and field investigation method,this study uses the Delphi method,questionnaire survey method and mathematical statistics method to determine environmental risk indicators,and evaluate the factors.And then use the results to carry out case analysis on 2020 China Baisha Triathlon Test Competition for the Tokyo Olympics.The results of the study are as follows:(1)This study built the risk indicator of competition environment among the elite athletes of triathlon,including:two first-level indicators,one is preparation risk(including four secondary indexes,a total of 30 tertiary index),the other is duringcompetitive risks(including three secondary indexes,a total of 17 indicators of level 3).(2)The assessment results show that the results are basically the same by using two different methods:the team management before the race,the weather conditions during the race and the competition equipment management all belong to the risk categories of high risk and need to keep high vigilance;However,there are some differences in the ranking of some risk factors.(3)In Baisha Competition,the environmental risk factors affecting the athletes’performance are less and most of them are within the controllable range,and the furthermore is the risk indicators and risk assessment results can provide theoretical reference for each team to formulate the risk plan for participating in event,but it needs to be considered comprehensively in combination with the actual event situation.
