| With the continuous development of public welfare in China,"public welfare" has become a well-known term and is gradually integrating into people’s daily lives.Research on public welfare,public spirit,public behavior,public education,and other aspects has also begun to attract attention from the academic community.There have been scattered expressions of public welfare among college students and middle school students in China,and related research has been conducted.Relatively speaking,as the starting point of compulsory education,the primary school students should cultivate public welfare from an early age,improve their awareness of public welfare services,and exercise their ability to provide public welfare services.However,research on public welfare among primary school students and their public welfare education is almost blank in China.Public welfare is a personality trait that is manifested in public welfare activities and undertakings.Quantitative research on public welfare not only enriches theoretical research on public welfare and enriches research on public welfare behavior among primary school students,but also better guides public welfare practice and provides new ideas for innovative work in cultivating public welfare,which has important theoretical significance and practical value.On the basis of a detailed analysis of the background of public welfare research,this paper adopts empirical methods,takes primary school students as the target,analyzes the problems by understanding the current situation of the development of primary school students’ public welfare heart,pays attention to the family education of primary school students,social environment cultivation and other issues,and discusses the theoretical and practical issues of public welfare education from the four perspectives of charity and public welfare heart,interpersonal public welfare heart,environmental public welfare heart and scientific public welfare heart,so as to provide guidance for improving their public welfare heart,so that primary school students can lay a good public welfare foundation in the early stage of school,learn to help others,and dedicate love,socially responsible.The results found that:(1)Primary school students’ philanthropy,interpersonal philanthropy,environmental philanthropy and scientific philanthropy were all at a high level,and there was not much difference between them.(2)The difference in philanthropy among primary school students of different genders,grades and families was not significant,indicating that these three conditions had little impact on the development of primary school students’ philanthropy.(3)The differences in household registration,grades,family economic conditions,parents’ educational qualifications and whether they serve as class cadres have a greater impact on primary school students’ public welfare,and the survey shows that the above conditions are positively correlated with children’s public welfare level.In addition,this study analyzes the understanding of parents and teachers on public welfare education,and the results include:(4)parents’ understanding of primary school students’ public welfare literacy,public welfare ability,and public welfare belief cultivation are relatively comprehensive,and they generally have an encouraging and affirmative attitude towards primary school students’ public welfare spirit,and can actively carry out public welfare penetration in the process of family education,but there is also a phenomenon that more attention is paid to school curriculum education and the importance of public welfare education is ranked second.(5)In the teaching process,teachers pay great attention to the cultivation of students’ character,and can also realize the importance of public welfare education to students,while teachers believe that primary school students’ ability to participate in public welfare activities is insufficient,and schools lack relevant curriculum.According to the survey conclusions,the author gives corresponding suggestions for public welfare education,and the cultivation of primary school students’ public welfare should be coordinated from the three aspects of family,school,and society.At the family level,parents should update the concept of public welfare education,consciously enhance their awareness of public welfare,play an exemplary role to drive primary school students to love public welfare and understand public welfare,and put public welfare education in the same important position as intellectual education,and encourage children to participate in public welfare practice;At the school level,it is necessary to strengthen theoretical research on public welfare education,enrich public welfare activities,give play to the leading role of school education,and drive family and community coordination to cultivate primary school students’ public welfare spirit;At the social level,improve the public welfare awareness and educational ability of community workers,give play to the role of charitable organizations and public welfare organizations,and create a public welfare cultural atmosphere. |
