| Facing the situation where Chinese people’s growing need for better life is wanted and the corporations’ high-quality development is needed,employees are eager to meet their own thirst for well-being.However,it is craftsmanship spirit that has become an important support to enhance job well-being.Existing researches and practical experience have explored job well-being from the perspective of craftsmanship spirit,but the specific influence role and boundary condition remain to be clarified.Based on these,this paper takes craftsmanship spirit as the independent variable,job well-being as the dependent variable,and employee assistance program as the moderating variable to explore the influence of craftsmanship spirit on job well-being,finding its possible moderating role in the influence of craftsmanship spirit on job well-being from the perspective of employee assistance program,which complements the research on the value definition of craftsmanship spirit and the path of job well-being enhancement.Firstly,this paper reviews the literature related to craftsmanship spirit,job well-being and employe’e assistance program,and summarizes the status quo of domestic and international researches.Secondly,the research propositions of the relationship between craftsmanship spirit and job well-being and the specific manifestations about job well-being of craftsmen are analyzed using multi-case analysis method,critical incident technique method and expert opinion method.Thirdly,this paper analyzes the internal logic relationship of the influence of craftsmanship spirit on job well-being and the moderating role of employee assistance program based on relevant literature and theoretical foundation.Besides,this paper proposes the corresponding research hypotheses and constructs a conceptual model based on these.Fourthly,based on the existing relevant mature scales,the research scales are modified combined with the specific research scenarios,and the questionnaire is pre-tested using SPSS25.0 to form a formal questionnaire.Fifthly,456 formal questionnaires are distributed and collected,then the questionnaire data results are analyzed with SPSS25.0 and AMOS24.0 to complete the empirical test of the influence of craftsmanship spirit on job well-being and its boundary condition.Therefore,this paper comes to the following findings:(1)Craftsmanship spirit’s three dimensions including craftsmanship skill,craftsmanship character and craftsmanship mentality all have significant positive influences on job well-being’s four dimensions including emotional well-being,cognitive well-being,vocational well-being and social well-being,and the intensity of different dimensions varies.(2)Except for the unconfirmed positive moderating role on the relationship between craftsmanship mentality and emotional well-being,cognitive well-being and vocational well-being,employee assistance program plays a positive moderating role on all other influencing relationships between craftsmanship spirit sub-dimensions and job well-being sub-dimensions.(3)Job well-being shows significant differences due to the differential of gender,age,educational background,post,corporate type,seniority and corporate region.Finally,management inspirations are proposed for corporations and individuals to pay attention to the cultivation of craftsmanship spirit and expand the promotion path to job well-being. |
