Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Occupational Injury Protection Of Delivery Personnel For Online Orders

The vigorous development of internet technology has given birth to the online delivery industry.The group of online delivery personnel has played an important role in ensuring people’s basic livelihood,and has also made significant contributions to stabilizing employment.However,due to the unique nature of their work location,the probability of occupational injuries among online delivery personnel is higher compared to other industries.Although the current state and society have paid attention to the issue of occupational injury protection for the group of online delivery personnel,due to the emergence of new labor relations,there are still significant deficiencies in occupational injury protection for the group of online delivery personnel.Therefore,while the country encourages the development of the online delivery industry,how to protect them from occupational harm is a key issue that needs to be paid attention to.This thesis takes the occupational injury protection of online delivery personnel as the research object,based on the labor division theory and occupational risk theory,and using the welfare triangle theory as the analytical framework,conducts a survey on the occupational injury and protection status of online delivery personnel on the four platforms of Meituan,Eremo,Flash Delivery,and Dada through a questionnaire survey,and supplements the research content using semi-structured interview method.Through the analysis of the questionnaire and interview content,it can be seen that there are currently problems with poor occupational injury protection effectiveness,difficulty in safeguarding rights,unreasonable payment,and low protection effectiveness for online contracted delivery personnel.Through analysis,it can be concluded that the reasons for these problems are the lack of occupational injury protection system and responsibility for online delivery personnel,the need for improvement of platform supervision and management mechanisms,and the low ability of online contracted delivery personnel to ensure their own occupational injury protection.In response to the above issues,at the national level,we should innovate and improve the occupational injury protection system for online delivery personnel,strengthen platform responsibilities at the platform level,and enhance the awareness and ability of online delivery personnel to ensure occupational injury at the individual level.Through the joint efforts of individuals,platforms,and the state,and the formation of a strong joint force,we aim to enhance the occupational injury protection for online delivery personnel and provide a solid guarantee for their occupational injuries.
